    Great job👍🏽 I bought a Montagne MM bag from fashionphile the handles were sticky, I kept it for one year. Three or so weeks ago I Casually walked into the Louis Vuitton store with my husband and asked if I could have the handles repaired. I showed one of the sales associates my bag told her it was a gift, she said I’ll be right back she came back and gave me a brand new bag.😮🥰I was so shocked, she asked me if I would like a different color the same one, she sat the bag on the counter and told me aren’t you going to put your stuff in it LOL.. I was in shock because I was not expecting a brand new bag, I was expecting to pay to get new handles.

      Total shock! LV is not know for their good customer service! You are one lucky girl! Bravo! Today I returned to my local store to say I didn’t like the way she folded my new Graceful PM into a box that is not deep enough....she offered me a bigger box which I refused because it was still not deep enough. She wouldn’t give me a deeper one saying the bigger boxes are reserved for large bags!!! I mean we are talking a BOX! If they running out of deeper boxes...order more! 😤

    I took after the hot summer in Europe my 2013 Speedy 25 B in Empreinte (Bought 2015) out of the wardrobe and screemed. The full glazing was broken. I went to LV and they told me, they take it back, 3 1/2 years after buying. I was shocked of the quality, but very pleased for the service and kindness of LV.

    Hi Jerusha. I brought my pochette metis in 2016 and noticed glazing problems on the bag. I called the 800 number and the SA told me my bag does not fall within the years for the glazing problem. I then took my bag into the LV store and them deemed it defective and offered me a new pochette metis bag. I don't think LV knows what years this glazing problem spans.

      My PM from 2016 also has glazing issues! I just took it in this August and they wouldn’t swap the bag but they reglazed, relined,
      And changed the handle for free 🤦🏼‍♀️! I’m happy they didn’t charge me but after all that I would have preferred a new bag. It definitely spans much further then what they’ve recalled so far.

      I'm glad to hear this...mine is from 2016 as well and have noticed glazing issues in the last few months. There's no store under 4 hours from me but I'm going to send mine in. Hopefully they'll at least re glaze mine.

      Cherell Vuitton I had a lorette and after 9month had glazing probs...lv reglazed it...and it was a bad job....I complained and they said it can not b repaired to b as new....disappointing!! Lv quality def gone down drain

    LV has gone downhill with quality. For the price point which keeps increasing, there shouldn't be any issues. I have a Coach wristlet for 10 years which I paid $60 for and glazing looks as new as the first day I purchased it. You're paying for the name and no longer the quality. I think I will take my business to Longchamp where you get quality for your money.

      You very right. I still own a coach Hampton tote for 20 years still looks like new. Visited coach store a few weeks ago, the store manager screamed OMG you still have the Hampton that discontinued long ago. How could you keep it up like new? Ipaid my Hampton 70 bucks brand new in Carmel . Wonder why ppl crazy about LV, so ordinary and plain looking with no style.

    I LOVE the variety in your collection. Just looking behind you, you try so many new things and you don’t seem to have 3-5 of the same bags. I get people like what they like but I adore the variety. You’re unique and I love your channel, you, and the pochette Métis in reverse!

    My Matis, the large bag, had the same issue on the outer bag and the strap. I took it back 2 years ago, it was sent for a repair and took like 4 months but they reglazed the bag but gave me a brand new strap that was not the same size as the original but it was a brand new strap. LV is and has been fully aware of the glazing on both Matis. They will address the issue regardless. Be patient for those going through this now. Help is available! I appreciate LV for their cooperation. Great video JC!!!!

    What a MESS with the PM !!! It was my dream bag, sold my YSL college bag in the small size to justify the Pochette Metis. A few months into it (around April 2017) i started noticing a veeeery slight change in the glazing. Freaked out and sold it. Still miss it !!! Glitches can happen, but the way everyone seems to be uninformed and vague about it is not acceptable as you mentioned. Also, the fact you need a proof of purchase !! I understand to some extent, but then again those bags are coded ! What’s the difference in having or not having a proof of purchase? Gifting without receipts happens all the time. They should be able to authenticate their own bags...if not then they should reconsider their business. Arrghh, love this bag so much! I wish they’d come out with a tweaked model and give a 100% guarantee nothing’s wrong with it! Otherwise it’s such a loss of money and patience... Yes, first world problem, but oh we love to have those problems 😂😂😘😘❤️

      I have a wallet that had the exact same glazing issue. It was the first luxury piece my hubby bought me and that means so much. And I have only used twice throughout the years. I took it back to the store and they first offered me the exchange and came back said they can only repair it with no charge. And they keep on asking our details to trace the purchase before they can do anything

    I bought my Pochette Metis in the summer (2018 obvi) I babies the bag,never left her in the car, and used her maybe once a week. I checked the glazing the other day and it was peeling. LV took it back right away. Great customer service. I have a credit now and am at the top of the list for another pochette and also pal springs mini. Still not sure if I want another for fear of the same issue.

    With the new computer system at LV, my SA can now see my purchases in Hawaii, Japan, Germany, and Singapore, it’s been nice!

    Interesting. I bought my pochette metis from Bondi store in 2014. I rarely use it because the straps hurt my shoulders. Since seeing this video, i've checked my pochette metis and I didn't realising till now that i have a glazing problem. The glazing is so sticky! That when i press my fingers on the glaze, my finger print actually shows. Anyway, I have the receipt which the Bondi store emailed to me back in 2014. So I will walk in this week and see if I get the same treatment you received to rectify the issue with this bag.

      ​@@darkcornrs68jasbro4 I visited the Bondi store today. They offered me either a credit note, or a different item that falls equal to the current value of the 'Monogram Canvas'. Or I could get a much expensive item and pay the difference. Unlike Jerusha's experience, I was never offered to choose from the Pochette Metis family without cost. I would have to pay the difference to upgrade to say the 'Reverse Canvas' or 'Empreinte Leather'. I guess @lakeboww is spot on. It pays to network and rub shoulders with the Manager. I was hoping to be offered to choose from the Pochette Metis family without expense, but unfortunately I'm not a well known youtuber. I am just Mary from down the road. I'm not impressed with how the same issue was dealt with differently. Unbelievable.

      I was contacted by Louis Vuitton informing me that a bag I purchased in 2013 was recalled. My bag looked perfectly fine but I took it to the store while visiting Orlando last week and they told me I could totally exchange it.
      I was very impressed by them.
      I love my new bag!!

    I brought my Pochette Metis to the store in the beginning of November. I bought my Pochette Metis in August 2015. The SA said it’s normal wear and tear on the cracking in the corners of where the flaps meet. Less than a month later, I received a call saying that my bag would take “too long” to repair and that they would give me a credit. It is a disappointment about the quality of this bag because I really did love the bag. I ended up using the credit for a Keepall 45 in Damier Graphite.

    First....you look beautiful! You and Will made such a handsome couple the night of the LV Party! Secondly, the Pochette Metis is MY VERY FAVORITE BAG!!! It meets EVERY requirement for me that makes it great! Perfect size, Canvas is lightweight, Organization, Crossbody ability and best of all....A TOP HANDLE to grab the bag from the car seat!!! I do hope LV never discontinues this bag! Who cares if you see it everywhere? Will they discontinue the Speedys because they are everywhere? I certainly hope not!!! So thank you for your complete and thorough explanation and demonstration of the glazing problem. I am blessed to not have issue with the glazing...and like you, would not want to release the bag until a new Metis was available!!! Also, I was originally not a fan of the reverse monogram, however, it is absolutely a carefree all weather bag!!! I live in a humid and rainy climate and am thrilled not to have the worry of the vachetta on the reverse! Enjoy that bag Jerusha! I know your love of it will grow each and every time you use it...just as mine has!!! 💙💙💙

    I purchased an Empreinte Key Pouch from Fashionphile a few years ago. Just a couple months ago I noticed the glazing starting to melt. It got so bad it started to melt on to the leather and zipper. I called my SA to inform her and after sending her pictures she immediately sent me a shipping label to send it to her. Once she received it, she called me to tell me I could get a store credit, exchange it for something else, or send it in to see if it could be repaired. No questions asked on a receipt which I was amazed. Well there were no longer anymore Cerise key pouches in the company so I got the Reversible Circle bracelet and paid just a little more. I was extremely happy with the outcome.

    My 5-year old Pochette Metis was replaced by LV in August. The glazing melted all over my outfit at a concert one evening. The boutique replaced it with a brand new monogram version. I asked if there was a recall or known issue, and the SA said there was not.

    I visited the Brisbane store today after noticing glazing issues on my metis empreinte hobo bag which I purchased back in 2013. The SA and store manager immediately confirmed there was an issue and went out of thier way to help. As the bag is discontinued they were unable to replace. I paid $3250 AUD for the bag in 2013 so they gave me a $4000 store credit instead. I can't speak highly enough for how well they handled the issue.

    Thank you sharing this information and your experiences! I am so grateful to you and other youtubers for sharing your thoughts. Last summer I bought preloved a LV curiouse wallet in empreinte leather. It was from 2013 and when I received it I was sooo disappointed. The edges had melted off almost entirely and the seller hadn’t said anything about that. I saw your videos and came to thinking that maybe my wallet has a defect glazing. I just took the wallet to LV store and it was, like I thought, a defect. I got a new empreinte Victorine wallet as a replacement and I am very happy about this outcome. The Curiouse’s edges were in so bad shape that I almost cried when I received it.

    Hi jerusha, my husband bought me the monogram pochette metis a couple of weeks ago, he has wrapped it up for Christmas so I haven't been able to check the glazing, fingers crossed it will be ok. .glad he always gets copies of the LV receipt, and down loads a copy xxx

    I brought my Pochette Métis Jerusha via the LV website Australia in 2020. I’m always looking at my bag to see if there are any defects. I had a lovely lady on TH-cam tell me where and when my bag was made. LV staff at Sydney are ridiculous. It’s gone up from $2950 to $3150

    My empreinte speedy had glazing issues. I brought it in and they gave me exact credit. I used my credit to buy a mon mono speedy. Lesson here is take your bags in if you don't like something. They will help you.

    The glazing problem has also affected the Ikat print never full and the empriente lleather too. It happened to me. My Ikat never full straps literally melted in my hands and my empriente, wallets did the same too. I received store credit, the store in Wailea Hawaii gave me Superb service on this matter. I was told by the store manager, that unfortunately the problem has been more prevalent in climates that are warm, hot or humid. Hawaii fit the bill for all three.

    I have to disagree with your comment regarding ”No global access”. LV stores DO have access to Global Purchases. In 2015, I went to LV Store in Newport Beach CA to return/exchange defective (paint was chipping) Speedy Ramage I bought overseas. An SA who was at the register offered to help me. I didn't have my receipt but he said it’s fine, all he needed was my name and phone number. A couple of minutes later, SA confirms he found me. ”So you purchased your Ramage in Germany...also gave me a rundown of purchases I made in 9 other countries. Replacement was not available so I was given store credit. Clearly, If you are in the system, it doesn't matter which store/country of purchase, same rules apply for repairs.

    Hi Jerusha. My friend recently ran into the same issue. Lv contacted her and exchanged her a new 2018 pochette metis in exact monogram. But the new bag canvas is completely softer than the old metis. It is not as structured as the old canvas. She hated it. She regret exchanging and wished she had her old one fixed instead. But I am not sure if you can even have it fixed.

    I bought mine in 2015. I had a bit of glazing issue where the strap rubs against the side of the bag and as it was minor. I was told to bring it back when it got worse. So I gave it in for repair a few weeks shy of 2 years in 2017 for reglazing . Was watching fashionably Amy at the start of 2018. Noticed cracking on the canvas, like her bag. Took it into store, got a replacement. I could have got a credit note for the current value if I wanted to. End of last year (2018) LV called me to check if I had my original bag. I said no it’s been replaced. I am guessing they were calling to tell me about the recall. I thought that was good that they call me, cause I was in their system. I bought my bag at Heathrow airport and I think someone in Liverpool called me. I still have my bag, so far no other problems.

    I’m having the same issues with my Palm Springs mini... I’m waiting for a replacement bag! I have seriously had so many issues with the psm as well, but I am happy they will still continue to stand by their product! I still love Lv, it’ll forever be my favourite fashion house.

    I have the bag and I love it!!!!!! Enjoy you new PM!!! I have like 3 videos about this bag!!! But I have to tell you, I don't have glazing problem on the bag, buy after a year and a half I have glazing problem on the strap, but already the ordered for me a new strap.

    I had done complaints of some items I bought in LV Europe in Singapore and Malaysia and both were exchanged to a new one. I brought my receipts which made it easy. Made me sad that there were too many defects here and there yet I still love the brand. Really hope they straighten the problems out. I also hope that LV customer account details and purchase history is linked worldwide so it’s easy to check for them even without the receipts.

    Thank you for video I took my pochette Métis in and they told me is was on recall due to the glazing so they gave me a store credit for the bag and they told me since it was 2nd bag that I bring back due to the issue that if I get another one the same thing happens again that hey won’t be able to replace it or exchange it so I decide to get a store credit for something else thanks again for the info you provide in your video it was very helpful we love you

    Y'all look amazing. What a fun event. This is why I love vintage LV. There are not as many quality issues. I really cannot figure out why they continue to have glazing issues. Other bag manufacturers can figure it out. Now I'm off to check my Montaigne. I'm paranoid about it now. I've wanted the PM but it's had issue after issue. I'm glad they took care of you.

    I had LV call me regarding the lumineuse pm that I purchased in 2014 and they advised me to take it in store to get a credit because of melting glazing. I had no idea that there was an issue. When I took it out it was melted even though I hadn’t used it for a while. I exchanged for a neo noe, empreinte zoe and bloom emilie wallet. I was so pleased with my new items.

    My SA contacted me regarding the pochette metis and offered me a replacement or store credit. Although I adore this bag I ended up getting the Alma PM in monogram. I dont regret my decision at all, am loving my Alama. Love watching your channel beautiful! 😘

    They recalled my bag last week, it was an original from 2013 that had the additional pocket before they changed the design. I really didn’t want to let it go, because I like the canvas, strap and setup of the design when it first launched in 2013. Anyway, I now have the Empreinte and it’s a gorgeous bag, but not my original ( which was in pristine condition save the glazing/ink on the sides). 😢 BTW your bag is beautiful!

    Mine was made in 2015 and I took it to store in the us florida and manger told me your don’t look too bad we will take it and fix it. I said but isn’t it recalled she said yes but yours don’t look too bad !!!!! She gave me no option of exchanging so I said ok and waiting for it. I am just so scared it will happen again :( u so lucky they exchange it

    Beautiful bag! I bought my reverse in late 2016, but had glazing issues. I had it repaired and sold the bag unfortunately. LV still has issues with this bag I think it’s the design of the flap and where the glazing is. It is prone to happen. Good luck.

    Had the same issues with my PSM the glazing of the chappe started peeling off within 3-4 months of light use. Happened twice so I decided to get a credit and waiting on a pochette metis!

    The glazing melted on my pochette metis (which I bought preloved and was from 2013) when I was in Rome in June 2017. I took it into Palo Alto LV and they replaced it without a receipt but this was in August/ September 2017. I haven’t had an issue since

    New subscriber here!! Since you are so well versed in LV I’m wondering if you would know something and could help me? My husband purchased me a Neverfull GM in February of 2017. I kept it in the dust bag for over an entire year before even using it and just pulled it out a few months ago to use...I used it very lightly and the handles are already splitting/fraying/the glaze is nonexistent...is this normal? I took it to my boutique and they wanted to charge me $200 to replace the handles on a really young bag...any suggestions?

    I received a call about a month ago from a rep. from their corporate office. They offered me a new bag or a credit for what I paid for the bag originally. I had already had the bag repaired for the glazing so I wasn’t sure if I wanted to replace it. The lady said that if at anytime I changed my mind I had guarantee that I could get a credit. So not sure if they will slowly call customers with the same offer. Seems like bad communication like Jerusha said.

    My PM from March 2016 has cracking on the glaze on the flap area and is now still on repair. Will def sell it once I get it back.

    Hey jerusha ❤️ I have the Alma pm in vernis leather and the zipper on this bag is absolute stif and it's really hard to open and close the bag due to this issue I have taken it to the store before and the manger said they can't do anything about it and that if it gets damaged they would repair it for me in the future I wasn't happy about that and I don't use the bag for this reason 😔 do you advise me to take it back and ask for a new one instead ?     I love the reverse metis so much. I’ve had mine for about 4 months. I keep checking the glazing and so far so good. I also wear it with the guitar strap but it seems a little shorter than the longest setting of the standard strap.

    It is such a shame that LV is not the same as when I purchased my first Speedy 30 in 1989. They never had the quality issues back then that they do now. I love your new Pochette Métis Jerusha ~ it looks more structured!👌

      I agree. My first LV I purchased was in 2006 from a website called ELuxury. The bag is still in excellent condition. I’ve had no issues with it at all. And because of the current quality issues is the reason I haven’t purchased another one. When I walk in the store to look at the items, they look different. Like something is off.

    I also think the mini Palm Springs backpack has had similar issues but I personally haven’t heard of people being rejected for the obvious defects this bag had. I’m on my second bag and unfortunately it looks like the glazing has peeled from one of my corner tabs and I’m nervous to bring it back into the boutique. I have purchased the bag from the same boutique but it was technically an exchange :(

    My PM was repaired even if I did not have a proof of purchase. I told them I will pay the 90 for reglazing. They took it in but when its done with its repairs, I was not charged with anything at all even the shipping to my house. This is LV Caesars Palace in Vegas
