Good indeed... It's always a good litmus test of a lesson plan if you can reflect and see that all 3 learning strategies are catered to throughout the lesson. By catering to all 3 learning styles you are insuring that each student is given the greatest opportunity to learn.

Our psychology lecturer sent us here as an example of the sort of stuff that was being touted as "learning styles". The sad thing is, there's very little evidence to support it - read a paper called "Learning Styles: Concepts and Evidence" by Pashler, McDaniel, Rohrer & Bjork (2008) to see why...

"i"m a (blank), I need to (blank). I think it is misguided to cater to the pupil, as the business environment will not be doing so for the employee. Rather all students must work as hard as necessary to learn from text and images, like graphs. Anyone who excells does so via a lot of self-education with texts. If a pupil can benefit by an input that is an analogy of the text, it is his/her responsibility to learn to make the translation. We can all learn to translate.
There is no objective evidence for the effectiveness of the learning styles approach. Leading educationalists have even called it harmful. I suggest you look at some of the large scale studies of effective learning strategies. This stuff is just snake-oil.
Here's great information for you. Students who eat a complete breakfast and more berries tend to get higher grades in school than those who don’t. Chew on that....
The learning styles theory has been debunked many times over. It can in fact have negative affects. However, multi coding has proven to be quite effective, but is definitely not learning styles. Multiple coding is just good teaching.
Learning styles is pseudoscience: That is, information designed to sound scientific and truthful, but is, in fact ,neither of these. The research on learning styles is clear: Teacher's use of learning style info during instruction does not help, and sometimes hurts student learning. Shouldn't someone who takes the time to make a video about a topic (for which there is readily available information) learn that information?
