I dreamed one day someone would do this when I first saw a skate park in 1977 in Buena Park, California at Skatopia. I'm 58 now, thanks for sharing this absolutely amazing ride. If there's dirt bikes in heaven, perhaps eternity and a forever young body will allow me the opportunity learn, and to ride like this. It was beautiful Joshua. 🏆 Hope you recovered well from the last overrun ❤️ 🙏
Damn my man! You’ve got unreal talent and even bigger balls! What a combo! Thanks for all the badass content and for taking us along too! Stay safe! 💪🏽🏍💨
Man you’ve always been the most talented dude on a dirt bike. I remember back in the day at salem ax jumping on to the hay bales with your rear tire and off. Or the gap at Albany mx. It’s been a joy to watch your career and post career. Making most of that talent you got through your adversities. Keep it rolling man.
Tony Jawk Pro Skater was the only video game I ever got into. The funny thing is I'm from Jacksonville and skated Kona before but I never noticed it on the Tony hawk game.
Your flow at the park was awesome 😱. Balls of steel pulling that huge gap, over concrete much less. This was the stuff of legend. Hope you healed up ok from that massive hit 🙏
@@RCPropaganda hey Brother 🤗. Been subbed to Josh's channel for awhile. I did my own big MX hits back in the day. Nothing like him though 😂. Gotta respect his insane skill 🚀🚀
I live 40 miles South of this legendary park. Never been tho. I'm 52, started skating about 5 years ago. LOVE IT! I need to visit Kona. (I'll pass on the death defying MX stunts LoL)
Wow Josh! Killin it . Stoked to see you put your boots on. My left foot got a similar treatment messing around with in shoes. Heal up . I Hope to ride with you some day soon. Maybe when my stark arrives.
I went to Kona once like 20 years ago, looks pretty much the same. I had to watch twice because half the time I was looking at the background like "oh i remember that spot"
YOU GOT MAD SKILLS!! I rode the first alta prototype in 2011 doing wheelies and stoppys for indy trade show video, but the stuff you hit in the skatepark is amazing!!
So cool with the electric bike, I wonder if getting used to the sound is different, I know I shift a lot by sound/engine feel so I just wonder if it took getting used to.
zero vibration on the bars, just twist the grip and the power is perfect every single time, no hiccups, is a wild enough feeling that I could care less about the sound honestly.
I stay pretty far in my comfort zone jumping the Alta most of the time. And there's no pipe or anything hot to burn you on the e-bikes. So I find myself just wearing street clothes and tossing on a helmet.
@@joshhill75 Incredible vid Josh. Hope your recovery is quick. Brought back a memory or two of times when I should have left well enough alone, but it's hard to do. Adrenaline is a powerful drug.
ya.....I don't think so, dirt bikes can jump 5-10x higher and farther than bikes/skateboards. injuries would be exponential too = death/paralysis.....definitely not gonna happen. even with electric bikes...
Ya....only 5-10 times! LMFAO...."those r rookie numbers. Better pump those numbers up". NO SHIT SHERLOCK. Backflip??? Double backflip?????TRIPLE! member??? It was an idea. People that actually ride xgames etc can decide if its feasible
@@belowzero2254 park made of dirt, like someone replied, might be feasible.(actually, that's what they already have....technically) Concrete? Definitely not.
I miss riding, showing off and over shooting a huge table top after riding all day and screwed up my lower back. I still pay for that to this day, but they were good times none the less.
Having skated here my whole life I can appreciate how crazy what he is doing actually is
thanks man
Having watched 45 seconds of the video and seen your comment I can too.
You skate something you think is huge and steep and you see it on a video and it looks small. I hate that!
It’s so big and that concrete doesn’t provide a lot of grip. It’s nog forgiving to fall on that stuff and he is ripping!
Same, I lived a mile from Kona for 6 years.
Ignoring how much of an absolute BEAST this guy is at riding, how perfect is that electric MX bike for this setting? Wow. Just wow
Right???
Slicks...
I see a new a new freestyle

Heaven IS a half pipe you know?
I like the rawness, pure clips. No hyped music but hearing the bike, wind and impact during the whole ride.
Imagine how treacherous dirt bikes already are, then add concrete and sharp edges to all the jumps and landings. Much respect 🙏
Damn my man! You’ve got unreal talent and even bigger balls! What a combo! Thanks for all the badass content and for taking us along too! Stay safe! 💪🏽🏍💨
That was so gnarly!! Makes me wonder what fmx tracks could evolve into!!
Dude it’s crazy what a lot of supermoto tracks are doing these days, combos of dirt & concrete shits scary looking
Hopefully skateparks 😂😂
Yeah, itd be sick if they started making pump tracks and skate park type tracks, but exclusively for moto
@@ethanh3421 I wish the same
@@D0CT0RD00M totally right. To me it feels like fmx has lost some turf lately...

Hands down best example of riding a moto at a skate park to the fullest...killed it
Hands down one of the most talented guys to ever throw a leg over a Dirt Bike ! This video was Fucking Awesome 🤠
Thank you!
Him cracking the throttle in the air is funny to me!
you are so gnarly dude, a real inspiration to an oregon kid like me. and so many others! 🔥
True dirtbike mastery, like you can see the future. *Even at the end saving it and dissipating some energy before laying it down lol
man i remember playing this in the tony hawk game when i was a kid and finally got to visit the real park. so cool to have this pop up
Tony Jawk Pro Skater was the only video game I ever got into. The funny thing is I'm from Jacksonville and skated Kona before but I never noticed it on the Tony hawk game.
Only josh can make a gnarly day at Kona look as easy as a Sunday cruise 🙌🙌
Holy shit that intro.. I grew up at this skatepark. I love this video so much.
Just crazy skills and ability to push past fear! So much respect!
Having been riding behind bars for over 43 years now, this took big kahunas and mad skills! Kudos brothers! Be careful out there
So sick! You're a beast. An FPV Drone on some of those lines would of been SICK!
The lines you had around that place made it look like that was somewhere you ride everyday. 😳👍
That was savage, proper old school fmx vid with him all busted up at the end showing his injury’s! Keep on pushing the sport, your the man
you nearly went into space dude lmao. legend
So happy I seen this, Kona is one my local parks. It’s fun time when you go.
Wow Josh you ride that alta like I do in my DREAMS. Amazing talent. Wishing you some fast healing dude!!

He rides absolutely great. Glad the last one wasn't to bad of an overjump, glad to see him walk away. Keep it up josh
The April O'Neil refference was GOLD!
Kona is so big a MX bike works great in there. Awesome riding!
Agreed!
He jumped from the J run over the pool to the snake run was insane!
Dude that is fucking insane. Lmao. Anyone that has never been to Kona will never understand.

Woo thank God for that bike control. Could have been worse but man youu are super skilled brotha
I don't kno what's worst the ankle or the tooth
But I love how Molly didn't drop the camera she kept filming 👌
🤯🤘👍🎥
fr she knows what she’s doing. 🙌
Strait up gas moto guy!
You can hear it on every jump.
Sick layout

So sick! Have you ever been filmed by an fpv drone? I think it would really compliment your talent by showcasing it through dynamic following shots
I went to Kona once like 20 years ago, looks pretty much the same. I had to watch twice because half the time I was looking at the background like "oh i remember that spot"
I've been riding skateboards, bmx bikes, and dirt bikes most of my life,..... and have to say that this is fuckin impressive!!! Groovy stuff kid!
A real life legend! Take it easy man, save all that incredible talent for the dirt! Concrete hurts alot worse!!
Absolute animal. So technical my dude!!!
Yoooo wow... I mean bravo dude that was an incredible epic, from start to finish all I could say is... Ballls
So freakin rad man, love your style!
10:59 you can tell by his feet that he was thinking about bailing off the bike for a second then he remembered that it's not dirt down there.

Still can't get used to the sound of these electric bike's! Two strokes are music to my ears!

yep, im also a fan of two strokes.
Dang. Minus a few back flips and superman's I think you just reinvented the X games pool mx.☝️🤟👽🚲
What an incredible video!!!🤯😵💫
You are witnessing Moto art at its finest Josh is gnarly
That level of skill is unreal!!
That was fuckin STEEZY dude holy shit….
Hill, wicked as always! Even w all the experience, makes me wonder how to figure out the necessary speed for this!?!
Dirt bikes with engines are becoming as rare as corded house phones.
I absolutely love when you drop new material. #dirtbikegod
The level of control and confidence is ridiculous
Best content ever
Great video, it’s inspiring how much you’re willing to put yourself through!

why the switch to the yamaha for the big jump? that e bike should have enough power for the job.
amazing riding for sure.!
That looks so fun i met you in murrieta those Escondido 110s by the mill
Really wish Alta survived! Awesome video!
This video made me yell "Jesus Christ" so loud I think my neighbors heard me
Such a cool video. You’re a beast!
Legend has it that nails are only half as tough as JH75.
Damn man, you look super smooth 😎🔥🔥
Why no mx boots? Seems to me those huge gaps would kill your ankles when landing. Let alone the risk of crashing and the protection boots provide.
