Very good tutorial. I used Front end accdb and save it as accde, then split the accde and produce a new backend. It worked. If I change the Front End structure with new form and tables via original accdb, will it work with the backend tables ? In another words for distributing the new frond ends to users

Our office currently has it set up where the back end is on the server along with the front end. The employees in our office create a shortcut of the front end that is moved to their desktop. Somehow this is causing a lot of issues. Is this the proper way to do it?

Jenny, the frontend should be saved on each person's computer. If the access database is split, only the backend needs to be on the network. This is probably why you're facing issues: multiple people trying to use the same frontend simultaneously.

Does this mean that users can access the back-end data simultaneously?

Is there a way to save the back-end in SharePoint? The SharePoint I'm using does not have the lists feature. Thank you! Great videos!

Laura, Did you ever get any response on your question? I am looking into doing the same thing

Shelly Millet, I am trying to work with Microsoft Azure to find out if that will work for us. Cost is a big one as well as the issue that I do not want to rewrite any of the Access code. I will let you know what I find out. I always seem to have to contact and initiate things to keep it moving, we are just small fish I am sure.

That is why I am looking at Azure. More of a data storage site
