I cleared my salesforce platform Developer 1 exam! Thanks a lot for the important tips that you shared here. I also completed several practice exams from S-killcertpro for a week and reviewed their exam notes the day before the test. Nearly 80% of the questions were from these sets. Exam is not easy, I recommend doing more practice tests until you're more familiar with the exam content.
In real life, most Big companies that use salesforce have their ecosystem developed in VF and are making the transition to lwc... So developers must know it.

Great videos Shreya!! :) I just missed out on PD1 a couple of weeks ago with 62.3% after continually getting 85%+ on practice papers.......... can you recommend the most current and "close to real" practice papers please? I found the actual PD1 exam was a level of detail (syntax level in some cases) down on the practice papers. Thanks :)

Asynchronous Apex can be skipped if you think you are very good at the other topics but Visualforce is something important that should not be missed. Only if you get lucky then you will get less/no questions on Visualforce

What about asynchronous apex and integration? Aren't they important for this exam?
