Div1 is my favorite game. Period. For all it's flaws it's still such an incredible game. I even bought the hard copy PC version just to add it to my video game memorabilila shelf, ha. Anyways, I think what you did here is great - it really compliments the game.

@@Upracefan Its a mood thing for me. When I play Arma...I prefer first person. A game like the Division where I get to see my character change physically as I level up and obtain new and better gear....I prefer the 3rd person aspect.
I still log into The Division for the ambiance. Just walking through NYC during a snowstorm is still epic. I’ve never played another game that nailed it that well! I can’t imagine what will happen when people start using UE5.X for games like that.

@@MegaMerdeux I disagree with you there. The game actually had a story behind each and every mission. Even the locations had stories, thus the echo events. Each faction had a lot of story behind them. The controls may have been a little tedious in the beginning, and there may have been glitches here and there when it came out. I may sound like a fan boy with this, but you gotta give credit where its due. Maybe you should give it another replay.

I played this game first day when it launched in 2016, I remember the lines that was formed to get to the starting pc all of it. The snowy atmosphere, the skulking around in the blizzards while hunting manhunt players in the DZ at night both in game and irl. Taking a break at the middle dz safehouse listening to rick valassi for a few hours while being able to hear far out some poor sap player getting gunned down for their loot on christmas morning. I was 21 when I started playing I was barely a young adult and I was taken under the wing of a group of dads who played often and roamed DZ. Now 8 years later im the dad mentoring some young players in their early 20s or late teens in division 2. Im still here almost a decade later roaming and hunting in the dz, grinding for loot and im going to be here all the way through division 3 and beyond carrying the torch of those dad agents who once mentored me.
OH, MY GOD! This is exactly what I've been wanting to get out of The Division for so long. No HUD and total immersiveness in the game. Man, how did you do that? Just played the division 2 the other day, and it does not compare even close to how fun and memorable as the first one. From level design to the story and the atmosphere was mwuahh🤌
It was nothing like running the Dark Zone on manhunt. Turning around, killing some teams, and anyone else who was in front of you. I never enjoyed multiplayer so much…. I miss it…
it's hard to believe this game is from 2016. The graphics, gameplay and level of immersion isn't yet to be topped by any current shooter game. Play Survival and get lost in snowstorm and have the hunters hunting you. What an experience!

This game was awesome. The characters, the guns, the gear you could use, it all looked amazing. Especially the banshee outfit, I'll never forget that one.

Those of you who responded to my post obviously don't know how this game was developed. Yes the PVP and PVE were separate, but the mechanics were not. You use the same equipment you find in the Darkzone in the PVE world and vice-versa. The problem was, the majority of the TH-camrs and Twitch streamer played PVP. When they found a certain weapons or equipment too OP, they would complain and the Devs listened. I would bust my ass looting and building the perfect weapon and gear, only to have it nerfed right after I would finally perfected it. And it wasn't just one time this happened. It happened to almost every setup I had that took months to grind for and perfect. All because the popular PVP users whined. So when I say, "They should have separated them", I meant the changes they made to all the weapons and equipment, should have been only to the Darkzone or the PVE world, not both. They should have kept them separate!
I still play with it to this day. the love attached to their games is incredible. I hope that you will take care of it a little, despite the fact that Div 3 is being prepared... Div1 is an eternal favorite for many, many players... This should not be ignored!
Once the disc went into my Playstation, it didnt come out for 5 years. This game is beyond a masterpiece, and an experience to treasure. From the Campaign to the Dark Zone, the memories are etched in time, as vivid as the burn in of the proficiency bar on the top right of my plasma tv. The sounds and sights were exhilarating, from the moment you loaded it up. From the first time walking into the Dark Zone, the adrenaline was pumping so hard you could taste in your mouth, until the first rogue kill, the tension was so palpable you could feel it in your throat, hands sweating, slipping off the controller, I mean this shit was tense in a way no other game could compare. Going to sleep making builds in your mind, waking up rushing the chores of real life with an urgency to just get back on this game... If you understand what Im saying, then we witnessed and experienced one of the best times, if not the best time in gaming history.
The Division still holds up till this day. Regardless of all the bugs throughout the years, The Division is truly one of the great PVP games of all time. I've been hoping for remaster for a long time. I'd gladly pay full price again if they did so.
I totally love this gameplay and the amount of emersion and realistic protrail you have created please show us more as it has me excited for the division even though I have completed it and now have moved onto the division 2 but this game still hits differently +
Couldn't agree more, had 1500 on TD1. I've never played or been so into a game so much. Had a great team met some friends I still play with todo. What you've done in this video is amazing, fond memories unlocked 🔓
What I love most about this game was taking cool shortcuts , back alleys to ambush or avoid enemies. This game was awesome for teaching you that by having you find all the collectibles. Of course I unlock the perk that after you completed side missions all the collectibles would appear in the district but it was also nice just to find a collectible because you took a back alley as a shortcut to unlock the next safehouse. I hardly ever follow the waypoint.
If anyone remembers, there was supposed to be central park area that they were working on. That was scraped for the division 2. They got greedy. They wanted to make as much money once they realized what they had. Wanted to milk all they could. Didn’t give a damn about the fan base or what we wanted for the game or what we thought. And that’s why they’re in the financial situation they’re in as we speak.
I absolutely loved this game, I played the Alpha in Dec 2015, skipped school to play it. When it finally released my and my buddy grinded it and got to level 30 in a few days. Still one of my favorite games of all time.
Absolutely agree with you. But alas, I don't know how to change that. Hopefully in the next The Division 3 they'll add an immersive mode that doesn't have the bullet sponge effect😉
Are enemies bullet sponge when you play only missions against AI too? or only online players are bullet sponges? I own both The Division 1 and 2 and I never started playing them because I thought the campaign is almost non-existent and that the enemies are bullet sponges, at least what I saw from the videos on yt
@@MarkoGLHF To an extent, yes, the AI enemies can be a bit spongy. But they also have weak points that you can hit and finish them real quick. There are also armor sets that when combined with different weapon types and attachment can all give you a set of game changing buffs. At that point, the game easily becomes something like Stalker or Escape From Tarkov where you can kill the AI enemies (and players alike) with two to three hits to the body. I can give you more details, if you like. I just didn't want to spoil anything for you, because the first Division game is really something special that deserves to be experienced at your own pace.

It's an rpg action looter shooter, they are supposed to be spongy. If you don't like that then the division games or any other rpg is not for you. That said, with the right gear and build you will kill enemies really quick, even on the hardest difficulty.
The division games are by far one of the best all time and deeply immersive game franchises of all time imo. I absolutely love them and the game mechanics. I would love to see more content like this.
OMG I had the best times of my gaming life playing pvp in Div 1. On manhunt and whole server chasing us it was epic. An Epic game. The whole game was awesome. I miss the fun.
im with you bro. when this came out i was blindsided by what i needed in gaming coming from playing call of duty for years to getting this masterpiece. playing this then the beta came out for wildlands. i was hooked . tom clancy has a generation of gamer that needed all this
Just an idea but I think you should do a co op version with some character story and even voice overs abit like that trailer that ubisoft showcased that would be sweet

I really can't stand the Ghost Recon stealth kill videos. I find them very annoying and a bit obnoxious. But the division videos, I can watch this for a long time. The intensity. Firefights. It's gritty. Even though I'm a Ghost Recon guy, I just think videos like this are much better. Great job.

This game is an absolute masterpiece in my opinion.No other game like this.The sequel was garbage..No atmosphere no realism!Ubisoft must give us a upgraded remastered Division 1!!!!The Dark Zone is my home for almost a decade now..I love this game❤
Looter shooter with no endgame is far from a masterpiece, setting, atmosphere and gameplay were all there but nothing else for the genre. If they made it as a more fleshed out single player campaign the maybe but as it stands it's a poor looter shooter. Every single looter game especially live service ones just have to have a solid endgame. They should have used all their resources and expanded on this game to give it a solid end game instead of a cash grab. Now we have two div games with no endgame instead of one with as solid endgame.
Yes, you're right about a lot of things. But this game has a huge amount of gameplay little details that Ubisoft has done at an amazing level. Something that isn't even in their newer games. And that's surprising. Of course a lot of things in this game could have been added and done better to make the game perfect in every way. But you have to admit that the game was really unique for its time and that's why even after 8 years it looks amazing.

Alas, but yes. The game's setting implies levels of weapons and enemies and some of them are impossible to kill with a shot or two. I'd like to change that, but alas I can't😉
As someone who absolutely adores The Division, I gotta say that watching this was such a treat. It was super immersive, and also you did a great job aiming with that laser pointer. Btw, how do CQB and long range scopes work with this mod? Do they even work at all? Also, does this mod allow you to toggle individual parts of the UI/UX, or is it just a simple 'HUD off' type of deal? For example, a red-colored grenade splash indicator is something I would love to keep active at all times.
I am really glad that this work is so well liked by the person who loves The Division so much😌😉 Look, unfortunately, with the mod enabled, the long-range sights don't work. Also, you can't choose what to disable and what to keep - everything is disabled. I would also keep the grenade indicator, but unfortunately it is impossible to keep it.

Ah, The Division. This is a game I come back every year for a full campaign playthrough. Looks amazing and feels amazing. The Division 2 is also great, but the first one has something that keeps me going back.

Best game I've ever played! Ever! I loved D1. Best way to stop the "sponging" enemies was a full 6 piece of Striker gearset and an LVOA or LWM4. I absolutely adored this game!
The Division 1 is a great game despite it's flaws and one of my all time favorites. But just imagine if Ubisoft never downgraded the visuals and kept it like it was first revealed on E3 2013. Just Imagine...

I really loved this game at first. Then the Developers let PVP destroy it. They should have separated them.

I still play with it to this day. the love attached to their games is incredible. I hope that you will take care of it a little, despite the fact that Div 3 is being prepared... Div1 is an eternal favorite for many, many players... This should not be ignored!

This game is beyond a masterpiece, and an experience to treasure. From the Campaign to the Dark Zone, the memories are etched in time, as vivid as the burn in of the proficiency bar on the top right of my plasma tv. The sounds and sights were exhilarating, from the moment you loaded it up.
From the first time walking into the Dark Zone, the adrenaline was pumping so hard you could taste in your mouth, until the first rogue kill, the tension was so palpable you could feel it in your throat, hands sweating, slipping off the controller, I mean this shit was tense in a way no other game could compare.
Going to sleep making builds in your mind, waking up rushing the chores of real life with an urgency to just get back on this game...
If you understand what Im saying, then we witnessed and experienced one of the best times, if not the best time in gaming history.
The Division still holds up till this day. Regardless of all the bugs throughout the years, The Division is truly one of the great PVP games of all time. I've been hoping for remaster for a long time. I'd gladly pay full price again if they did so.
I totally love this gameplay and the amount of emersion and realistic protrail you have created please show us more as it has me excited for the division even though I have completed it and now have moved onto the division 2 but this game still hits differently +

The sequel plays better, but nothing compares to the tone, setting and atmosphere of The Division 1. Definitely one of my favourite games of all time.
What I love most about this game was taking cool shortcuts , back alleys to ambush or avoid enemies. This game was awesome for teaching you that by having you find all the collectibles. Of course I unlock the perk that after you completed side missions all the collectibles would appear in the district but it was also nice just to find a collectible because you took a back alley as a shortcut to unlock the next safehouse. I hardly ever follow the waypoint.
If anyone remembers, there was supposed to be central park area that they were working on. That was scraped for the division 2. They got greedy. They wanted to make as much money once they realized what they had. Wanted to milk all they could. Didn’t give a damn about the fan base or what we wanted for the game or what we thought. And that’s why they’re in the financial situation they’re in as we speak.
I absolutely loved this game, I played the Alpha in Dec 2015, skipped school to play it. When it finally released my and my buddy grinded it and got to level 30 in a few days. Still one of my favorite games of all time.
If only it didn’t reply on bullet sponge to make it interesting, it could of been so much better if the gunplay was believable
Absolutely agree with you. But alas, I don't know how to change that. Hopefully in the next The Division 3 they'll add an immersive mode that doesn't have the bullet sponge effect😉
Are enemies bullet sponge when you play only missions against AI too? or only online players are bullet sponges? I own both The Division 1 and 2 and I never started playing them because I thought the campaign is almost non-existent and that the enemies are bullet sponges, at least what I saw from the videos on yt
@@MarkoGLHF To an extent, yes, the AI enemies can be a bit spongy. But they also have weak points that you can hit and finish them real quick. There are also armor sets that when combined with different weapon types and attachment can all give you a set of game changing buffs. At that point, the game easily becomes something like Stalker or Escape From Tarkov where you can kill the AI enemies (and players alike) with two to three hits to the body. I can give you more details, if you like. I just didn't want to spoil anything for you, because the first Division game is really something special that deserves to be experienced at your own pace.

It's an rpg action looter shooter, they are supposed to be spongy. If you don't like that then the division games or any other rpg is not for you. That said, with the right gear and build you will kill enemies really quick, even on the hardest difficulty.
The division games are by far one of the best all time and deeply immersive game franchises of all time imo. I absolutely love them and the game mechanics. I would love to see more content like this.

OMG I had the best times of my gaming life playing pvp in Div 1. On manhunt and whole server chasing us it was epic. An Epic game. The whole game was awesome. I miss the fun.

I really can't stand the Ghost Recon stealth kill videos. I find them very annoying and a bit obnoxious. But the division videos, I can watch this for a long time. The intensity. Firefights. It's gritty. Even though I'm a Ghost Recon guy, I just think videos like this are much better. Great job.

Division 1 Remake. Hell yes it should look like this! Amazing work!
Looter shooter with no endgame is far from a masterpiece, setting, atmosphere and gameplay were all there but nothing else for the genre.
If they made it as a more fleshed out single player campaign the maybe but as it stands it's a poor looter shooter.
Every single looter game especially live service ones just have to have a solid endgame.
They should have used all their resources and expanded on this game to give it a solid end game instead of a cash grab.
Now we have two div games with no endgame instead of one with as solid endgame.
Yes, you're right about a lot of things. But this game has a huge amount of gameplay little details that Ubisoft has done at an amazing level. Something that isn't even in their newer games. And that's surprising.
Of course a lot of things in this game could have been added and done better to make the game perfect in every way. But you have to admit that the game was really unique for its time and that's why even after 8 years it looks amazing.

As someone who absolutely adores The Division, I gotta say that watching this was such a treat. It was super immersive, and also you did a great job aiming with that laser pointer. Btw, how do CQB and long range scopes work with this mod? Do they even work at all? Also, does this mod allow you to toggle individual parts of the UI/UX, or is it just a simple 'HUD off' type of deal? For example, a red-colored grenade splash indicator is something I would love to keep active at all times.

Look, unfortunately, with the mod enabled, the long-range sights don't work. Also, you can't choose what to disable and what to keep - everything is disabled. I would also keep the grenade indicator, but unfortunately it is impossible to keep it.

Best game I've ever played! Ever! I loved D1. Best way to stop the "sponging" enemies was a full 6 piece of Striker gearset and an LVOA or LWM4. I absolutely adored this game!
The Division 1 is a great game despite it's flaws and one of my all time favorites. But just imagine if Ubisoft never downgraded the visuals and kept it like it was first revealed on E3 2013. Just Imagine...
