    The magazine can be attached to the picatiny rail. Quick access for extra mag and or acts as additional handle.

    I got my gen 2 last week and took it to the range. I tried slugs, Turkey shot and a few home defence rounds. The gun performed well with all. I did read the manual on 1250 fps min. The sights are too low so I am raising them .5 and getting a softer recoil absorbing rubber on the stock. No special optics or anything. Possibly a flashlight. I really enjoyed shooting the gun. The magazines loosened up as I used them. I did purchase the 10 round mag as well and it functioned perfectly and I do suggest the extra purchase. Overall love the look and the function of my new bp12. PS I switched the Charging handle to the left side to keep my right hand on the grip. I will see how it works with my new sling and at the range.

    Being a longtime gen 1 owner, I've always expressed my disdain for AR style charging. It's clumsy and awkward. So I like that the gen2 has done away with it, however as you pointed out you lost the rise necessary to get a decent sight picture. This is not a big issue since you are going come to the conclusion very soon, to throw those cheap flip up sights in the trash and put on a red dot with a 1 inch riser. I agree that something seems wrong with your gas block flopping around while charged.

    I just bought my Gen 2 Panzer, it came with two extra chokes in a little compartment, also a high velocity piston. (H.V.) The gun comes with a standard piston but it says after Breaking in the gun to change to the high velocity piston. Did you also get this in yours? Does your manual say the same thing? It says it is important that you use this piston for any ammunition that is 1350 ft./s and above.

I had all the parts replaced by PANZER ARMS USA within a week. They send me the complete upper receiver assembly including barrel. The only difference is the bolt wish is the same as the gen2 bolt. Congrats on the first and only review of the gen2. We all needed this. Really looking forward to a range video. Judging from the comment section so far, there seems to be an issue with a missing part that may or may not be the blame for a serious jam after firing. New owners are noticing the flopping part that slides back and forth when it's charged and locked back. If this is believed to be normal then the gen2 has a radically altered system from the gen1. Can't say that I like where this is headed. Hope you don't mind if interested people use your c/section as a forum to scrutinize the gen2, but as you can see it already is. It would really be helpful if you would post a dissasembly video and show us the innards. Thanks again.

    Just picked up my GEN 2 today. The sliding “loose” piston is a “standard” velocity piston which, according to the manual, should be used for the initial break in period. Recommended ammunition is 1-1.5 oz shot from 1250-1500 FPS. After that break in period you can install the “high velocity” piston for heavier loads. Interesting, the part #107 is no longer on the nomenclature.

    Hi, i bought a gen 2 also and noticed some of these things you mentioned, only thing is mine is a radikal nk-1 gen 2 which has small improvements over your version, like magazine lever added below were your model release is located, and a capture bolt, instead of nut on cheek rest adjustment. And it's still black, with final differences in design on the false suppressor.

    That "piston" is your gas block and should not be sliding freely. The bottom of the mag will attach to any picatinny rail. I bought this weapon approximately 4.5 months ago, have put roughly 200 shells through mine and as it sits currently I am MUCH less than impressed. I own a Gen 1. Barely 200 shells through mine, none hotter than the manufacturer prescribed max of 1600 fps. In my last magazine of shells I had failure to fire. I broke the weapon down on the bench and upon inspection found metal shavings in the bottom of the lower & the barrel nut & the threads of the upper were completely stripped. There was also noted damage & deformation to the gas block. As the situation stands currently, I am the infuriated owner of an over glorified $600 paper weight. The failure happened on November 19th. I I have sent 3 emails to Panzer Arms customer service, the first being the day of the failure along with multiple phone calls. I have yet to have any communication with anyone remotely resembling a customer service representative. I will say that I was exceedingly impressed with it up until this point, but this experience is NOT what Panzer Arms had promised me. I do understand that the pandemic has caused shipping and labor issues, but I really feel that someone should a least be able to answer an email or a phone call within a business week.

    Got my gen 2 bp12 on Monday shot it straight out the box at the range and loved it!!! I was short on time since they were closing soon and didn’t even get a chance to put on the flip up sights or red dot I ordered. But man just looking down the rail of the gun it shot perfectly. I will say the first shot it jammed! The charging handle got stuck and wouldn’t allow another round to feed. Had to have a range employee help out. He struggled for a bit as I did and then randomly it just shot into place. Dry fed the rest of the rounds out and after that it worked flawlessly and kept me smiling after every magazine I finished! Once I got home I sprayed some CLP in the chamber and slide and also on the spring and wiped it down. It felt much smoother charging and dry feeding rounds. Got sights and red dot added as well as flash light and can’t wait to hit the range this weekend with it. I was also disappointed with not having AR charging handle but after the reviews from the first gen and looking at other bullp pups with AR chargers on them at the range they are flimsy and feel cheap. Removing it increases the performance and reliability of this gun I believe. And also I had no floating or sliding in my barrel not to say it’s not normal but nothing moves on this gun when I flip it or shake it. Part #107 is listed but don’t plan on taking gun apart for a while to know if it’s there.

      Man, how do you buy a weapon and not take it home, disassemble and clean/ lubricate it first? Mine had more grease than a crappy street pizza, it was literally dripping. That's just a recipe for disaster.

      Having shot both, im curious ask why.other than the top charging handle which is useless that some have taken off,why?The updated bolt and chokes make it a better multipurpose shotgun.Think of skeet shooting, bird hunting, hog hunting, home protection(you gto a 20 inch barrel,that impressive). When I purchase I look for function. Home defense is great but that was my second reason for picking the panzar.Hog hunting was my first. If it will drop a 200+ hog it will drop a 200+ intruder. I don't live in the country so there is no dam way im letting that let loose with 00buck unless the situation has went to 0 to 100 in my neighborhood. I have neighbors lol. But keep shooting trust me you will like it..Ive seen what it can do to a hog at 15 to 20 feet with a slug. Panzar is still a reliable BP cant go wrong with the purchase.Also a 20 rd drum...shittt I challenge a dont like..Fun BP to shot and a attention whore at the range...😁

      the lowered rail did make gun a better look in my view, but sending $100 more to remove a function of the gun is what got me disappointed.It would make everyone happy if Panzer would drop $100 instead 😉.

    BAD GUN. Stove pipes and hangers. YOU need to use 1300FPS ammo, at least to break in. You were worried about the sights. You didn't like the lack of the AR style charging handle. You were concerned about the "sliding part." Yet you still said you liked the gun. Why? Because it looks cool? And you haven't even fired it yet! This was an unboxing video that's all. NO ONE should purchase this firearm based on this video. Do your homework. It can be a trusty weapon for home defense, but it requires high powered ammo to break it in. Don't even try bird shot through this out-of-the box.

      i do like the way it looks and the fact that it is a bullpup. Just gave a honest opinion, didnt expect anyone purchase or not purchase it from my video. I just want to show a first look of the Gen 2 cuz there wasnt one on youtube at the time. Please, no judgement.

    • @Dies1r4e
      @Dies1r4e 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      have your broke it in yet? mine started to cycle any bird shot over about 1200 fps after about 200 rounds, I have never had any malfunctions with buckshot or slugs out of it. it never had an issue with hotter turkey loads. Not sure what you would do with a gun like this with low power bird shot...its a 18.5 or 20 inch barreled gun your not going to be doing much fowling with it.

    The "suppressor looking thing" is a barrel shroud. Its exposed to prevent you from getting burns from the barrel getting hot after continuous firing.
