David Foster inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame

  • David Foster is one of the most successful songwriters of all-time. The 16-time Grammy Award winning producer-songwriter has written chart-topping international hits for artists such as Earth, Wind & Fire, Chicago, Céline Dion, and Whitney Houston, as well as culture-defining soundtracks for blockbuster films like The Bodyguard, Urban Cowboy, and St. Elmo’s Fire.
    The BC-born music veteran was inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Toronto's Massey Hall.
    Foster was presented with his award by Bryan Adams.

    In my opinion, David F is the best composer on earth, I actually grew up on his music, living 10 000 km from Canada, especially the "Symphony Sessions" album, something wonderful in every sense. Fun fact, I once recorded and wrote a song called Adoratorium - "Fostrofobic", but in a different sense than sir David's feeling in the elevator. Bravo,. 👏God bless
