Loved Barbs pile! Jeffrey you bought some fantastic items, I loved the pottery that you passed on 🙁 would love to figure out how the lives sales work. I might be out of luck because I work every other weekend.
I loved the owl Barb got and the mushrooms too!! So much good stuff u got Jeffrey! I liked the tumble up and my favorite was the wood candy box ! I think I’m going to need one of those!!
I've sold those OVENEX pans before. The dog isn't eating the bird, its retrieving it- I live in Northern WI so those dogs and hunters are everywhere LOL
The Koala was playing "A waltzing Matilda", a very well known Australian folk song. The plate was Portmeirion china, Botanic garden pattern. Wonderful video and you got some really lovely things. 💗🐨
Oh my gosh! I don't typically like to say I'm jealous, but this time...whoa: I was so jealous!! So many fun and nostalgic items. This was one time I kept saying, 'no; pick that up! I want to see that one...!" I saw so many things I would love to get. Amazing thrifting experience! So fun!
WOW! That store had some amazing things. You came away w some great finds & so did Barb:) I believe it’s Portmeirion! (the ceramic plate you saw) Enjoyed this video:)
Janet they are at a lady’s house. If I remember correctly over time she has perused Goodwills and picked up these wonderful things, which she has set up in her basement. If that was my house I would find myself making excuses to go down to the basement just to look at all the incredible stuff. Barb and Jeffrey went there before and I hope you can find the video(s) to watch. 😊
The frog color way of pink and green is more 1960's!! How amazing you were able to adventure through all these treasures! Jeffrey, you seemed to be having a blast!! Barb found some fun treasures!! You both found a variety of treasures to resell!! Love the pencil case set!!
The song the Koala is playing is “Waltzing Matilda” an Australian folk song, it’s our unofficial anthem. It’s about a bushman who steals a sheep and to get away from the law, he jumps in a water hole & drowns 🐨
My mom has her grandmother's worlds fair toothpick holder from 1904. The owl is huge! Nice. The Gobel carousel 🎠 is beautiful! And I'm so jealous of the jewelry bags!
Jeffrey, I have my grandmother's box and I thought for years it was a jewelry box. Why do they have mirrors inside if they were for chocolate and what date range would it be? That's very cool. I think yall did great today. What fun.
Ooh, dream come true! Getting a pre-sale invite, how lucky are you! I think that pretty blue glass tray with the four circles wasn't for drink glasses, but for matching S&P and oil and vinegar cruest, used in the 20's, 30's at the dinner table. I could be wrong, but I've seen lots of similars with the containers on them.
WOW! that was a fantastic sale. how nice to be by yourselves and be able to have first shot! that lady had great taste! it was like you were at at antique mall! what a selection! I loved all your picks! that owl was precious for Barb. so glad you got that jewelry, what treasures you will find! YAY! Did you miss the flamingo mug? always good videos! enjoy!
Barbs frog reminds me of the prizes we could win at the Bloomsburg Fair when I was a teenager in the 70s. I’d spend all my money trying to win a stuffed animal! Good times, even better memories. 😊
I have a lot of the Ovenex pans…they make me think of my mom. She always baked brownies in an Ovenex pan. You found some really great pieces there! I especially like the carousel glass.
The Delft houses were souvenir (containing "demon gin" gifts made to Business Class passengers on KLM international routes. They've been around since the 1950's.Some are quire rare. I hope you picked up a special one in your haul.
There's nothing better than an estate sale; and you already know the prices are good for resale being there before. So you should buy it all if you both can swing it. Knowing you will triple or more, your investment here. Good luck!
My mom use to send us to school EVERYDAY (literally every day!) in the fifties and sixties telling us "Remember your ABC's...Always Be Careful". I wonder now if she got that from a pencil box!! Jeffrey!!!! That dog was not eating a bird...that was a labrador retriever....they retrieve the birds that the hunters shoot....and never injure a feather. A good retriever can pick up an egg and take to their owner. They are trained to have "soft mouths."
Hi Jeffrey, you should do a video of going through all those jewelry bags. Great video, good job.
You two are the best.
Barb I LOVED 🥰 your little pile
We still have the wooden candy box my Dad got for my Mom on the night they got engaged, Christmas Eve of 1952.

I would love to find an Ovenex tray. I am always on the hunt for them. I use them to create cool decorative papers.
I think the 3 avacado color tumblers right by where you found the chocolate box are Fire and Light! Run and get them!!!
Barb! That head vase!
Jeffrey! The feather art!
And that tiki mabobber was the cherry on top!

The song the Koala is playing is “Waltzing Matilda” an Australian folk song, it’s our unofficial anthem. It’s about a bushman who steals a sheep and to get away from the law, he jumps in a water hole & drowns 🐨

Oh Jeffrey, what a honey hole! I don't think I will ever have an opportunity like that. All those goodies and no other shoppers!
You Crack me up with the Humpty Dumpty segment. I'm assuming you know that the tumble up top is used for the drinking cup. ...and could keep out dust.
Barbs frog reminds me of the prizes we could win at the Bloomsburg Fair when I was a teenager in the 70s. I’d spend all my money trying to win a stuffed animal! Good times, even better memories. 😊

Hi guys the koala is made from kangaroo fur and the melody from the music box is called waltzing Matilda one of Australian first folk songs
Not sure why, but when I saw the green car vase, my first thought was, "Looks like one you'd find on someone's grave."
Glad Barb got owl.
Is barb really going to buy something that would be awsome
