He's been a famous singer in indonesia for more than a decade, has his own albums and concerts too.
He poured his heart into this song and dedicated it to his late father. His father was the one who encouraged him to sing when he was a child, signed him up for singing competitions, asked him to sing at weddings, and so on. Unfortunately, when he finally managed to become a famous singer, especially in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, his father did not get to see his success.

Hi Don. Great reaction. Cakra did lost his father who, while he was still very young, used to bring him to participate in many local singing competitions. In one of his interviews Cakra very honestly admitted that he lost most of those competitions. He was telling it while laughing as it meant nothing to him. He and his father just kept on going to the next competition and so on. All those losses seem to have build his open and humble character, and made him mentally stronger.

The show is actually just getting started soon. He was here for the audition. The live shows haven’t started yet. But he has a pretty big following already on TH-cam. No international albums ( he has albums from his own country though) yet. But I’m sure they r in his future.
