Man these videos are super fun. Maybe not the best for investment but the fun of maybe hitting a score or just seeing some old cards you used to love is great!
I did my first buy because of you today, 800 cards for 25€ I saw a memnite on the picture they posted. I trippled my money on +1€ cards so it was a very good first buy 😊
You can recognize Unlimited cards by the copyright. An Unlimited copyright is centered vertically in the area and revised is more toward the bottom edge.
I like getting bulk for page fillers of random cards I need but man the newer cards, bad condition, foreign and many many copies of the same junk can be a killer.

I love going through bulk, I dig through it to find hidden gems then donate the leftover bulk to my local middle school. Sometimes I'll build decks out of the bulk and put them into ziplock bags.
Hot take, Matt just needed more packing supplies for Mattcart/ebay store, and it was cheaper to just buy a overpacked good will bulk lot then buy packing supplies from a store hahah. Great video!
Reminds me of when I sorted out my collection. Took me like two weeks to sort through my stuff but I separated it by color and then alphabetical. I ended up keeping at least one of every single common card and selling off the rest, keeping anything of value. I think it totaled around 10,000 cards in nothing but common, didn't sell any uncommon or higher. Really opened up a ton of space.

I agree, I have pulled some decent stuff in Facebook random buys, but every Goodwill purchase I have gone through has been a disappointment. the last one didn't have a single rare in the entire box.
Pull up a picture of an unlimited and revised card online. Look at them side by side. Notice the placement of the artist name at the bottom. You will never unsee it, it's the easiest way to tell the difference.

Buying random bulk mtg cards is a much bigger gamble than it used to be. I remember my local goodwill, about 10 years ago, had boxes of mtg on the shelf for like $5 a box. Now, they only sell in bulk online, and will often remove the money cards to sell individually. More people are aware of the value mtg has on the secondary market now, so you are less likely to find cards of value in bulk boxes like that.
I feel you there on the reprint train. On one hand, I want an Anoited Possession as a player, so it needs a reprint. On the other hand, don't reprint my Vorinclex I love him at 60 haha

I just bought a lot of Urza’s block commons and Uncommons because, eventually old set bulk will float up and the art in those old sets was wild. I’m hoping for some ‘Tragic Poet’s, my favourite card. My prized card is my near mint, foil TP. Had to buy a bunch of foil TPs to get a good copy.
You need to know your unlimited. I’d be happy to help get up to speed. If you don’t know or you don’t buy it and if you don’t buy old cards and reserve list cards wotc will just reprint the card 10x.
It's so annoying to watch someone shift threw the cards the wrong way, WHY do you shift the cards from left to right?? You cover up the rarity symbol, you cover up its mana cost, you cover up the power/toughness To know its a creature or not. I'm even left handed and I shift the proper way. What are you even looking at when your shifting this way??? The art?? Come on man step it up.
