Why I love ALON? It's because Pablo is baring himself all throughout the album. He didn't just bring us in his journey but he let us feel what he actually felt during those times he's been struggling. Like even we didn't necessarily experienced what he has been through, but he let us experience those emotions even for a moment.
What a master at lyrics,Pablo is simply a genius. Love every song on this album and I feel the way he sings each gives us a visual in his voice,for example in The Boy who cries Wolf , one can hear the Wolf sounds and in Kumonoy, the sound of quicksand. Just my take

Hello, new subscriber here! Truly, Pablo is a rare gem ! Reading through his song's lyrics, you'd think he's a man that has been living for decades who has been through a lot of pain, trials, and ultimately victory, triumph. Most of his songs deals with depression, sadness, hopelessness, helplessness (Nyebe) but be reminded that he ends most, if not all, of his songs with a glimmer of hope, of overcoming these, of triumph, of a ray of sunshine on the horizon! Pablo is a rarity in this generation of cutesy, sugar and spice and all things nice songwriting! He's a poet lyricist, a Van Gogh, a Renoir of a composer....Sheesshhh!👏💕👏

The love song "Drowning in the Water", was written when he only was 14 yrs old., another song was when quitted ShowBT(trainee period in 2017?). He explained it during his first mall tour @ Robinsons.

ALON album really good
Kumunoy was written when he quit during their training and he was so down and started to question himself..Most of those songs actually are maybe on the same timeline,..Drowning in the water was written when he was 14, he actually changes some of the lyrics in some of them,..it took a while for Pablo to release his own album because he focused massively on the SB19 music than his own...he and josue (radkidz) are responsible producing sb19's music and some of the boy's solo projects..

He wrote Drowning in the Water when he was 14, Wala is the finished version of ??? which was on his YT channel, Kumunoy he wrote it when he had doubts during his training days the uncertainty. La Luna was his first single & he said to listen to the album from the first track as they relate to the message he is trying yo convey.
The first time I heard Kumunoy thoungh unreleased yet was at their US tour I was so amazed you get the feel of the song. But when I searched the older version in their earrlier concert he wasn't able to finish it and broke down. Every emotion is still fresh that time and the light/ hope he refers to are the A'tin support and he was so grateful even then.

Pablo and Josue performed Kelan even before it's release. In my opinion, their live performance - especially the one from Earth Hour celebration, is better than the recorded version. The live performances they did for this song has a lot of adlibs which made it even more dynamic. Plus it was great tonsee the brothers enjoying each other's company on the stage.
I read somewhere that Josue was a metalhead before he shifted to hip-hop. The metalhead side is apparent in their song DETERMINADO.

I'm more into hype songs and I stay away from ballads and love songs (sappy) but I love this whole album. My #1 is both Presyon and TBWCW. The others are interchangeably at #2. BREATHE is refreshing - the calm after the ravaging songs that came before it.
Thanks for this RV! Pablo said that the album should be listened to in the order of the playlist as the album tells a story and the outro, BREATHE, is the ending. So, IIRC, La Luna is the first chapter followed by Presyon, WALA, The Boy Who Cried Wolf and so on.
While this album is dark (but marvelous), the second album LAON is light and happy. And based on the previews, the songs are really contrasting with the songs in ALON.
