YESSSS!!!!!!! OMG I thought it was just me who felt that way lol. I always tell my kids you wanted it up you help it come down! I put their trees outside their bedroom doors and they have to put them up and decorate them on their own and then take them down (doesn’t always happen on Jan 1 but we adventually get there). I love putting up decorations for Christmas and my whole main level of my home is decorated and covered then Jan 1 rolls around and I forget how much work it is to take it all down wrap up fragile/glass items and pack it all away for 12 months haha. But my kids are no where to be found and it’s like crickets in my house. Any other time you can hear them bickering or talking or laughing and are all over the place lol Merry “belated” Christmas 🎄!

Totally agree. Some of the basic looking covid ones i've seen are going for almost that. This was so delicate and detailed. I'd love to buy one for myself and for gifts.

The day after Christmas in Canada is Boxing Day, a holiday. It's a day of rest and eating hot turkey sandwiches from the left over turkey. Nothing is open only gas stations. After Christmas you need a day. to relax.

I took our Christmas decor down Dec 26th. I like it all down and fresh for the new year. I make sure to really protect our tree topper from our first Christmas. It will be 50 years old in 2021! It was fun to watch the kids open presents. Wentworth seemed to enjoy it especially...no matter who's present it was!
I put mine away and realized I had a small ceramic christmas tree I missed. But I also remembered I had all of my christmas tea towel things to wash too. Always something I miss
I’m so you had a wonderful Christmas! Our Christmas was quite somber. My husband was exposed to Covid-19 by someone who knew they were sick and didn’t say anything. Subsequently, he got Covid-19 as did I. I’m thankful my sweet hubby recovered quickly. I on the other hand wasn’t sure if I was going to make it, but by the grace of god I’m still here and recovering. Not being able to see our adult sons for Christmas was like a knife through our heart, but we survived and face timed all day. Hopefully 2021 will be good to everyone! Stay safe and healthy! Ahhh bittersweet taking it all down! On a side note, I visited Marshalls a few days ago and would you believe it, they had one sign with the reindeer names and guess who’s name was at the very bottom?!!!
I did the same this year- I put all the Christmas stuff away on the 31st. I just wanted my house to be organized and for some reason with the decorations up it just stresses me out lol.
