    Great observations. The analog performance is enhanced by the Deinterlacer in the Hdzero goggles. They are the only goggles I know with this feature and make analog the best it can be with todays tech. Great video and thank you for taking the time to make it for us to see.

    So the meteor75pro VTX do up to 350mw but the table says 400. Just so you know it's only 350 that that VTX can do. As for the hdzero 25 vs 200 the 25 is nuts and often I find the 200 isn't much better than the 25. The 25 is phenomenal so I usually don't even bother with 200. Both are great but my hdzero got ran over by a bus.... I think I'd rather have 2 analogs but I found 75hdzero for 120 on Black Fri so bought 3 hopefully they'll last the racing season! Keep it up!

      120? Oh man, what a steal! I would have bought a bunch too. Was that on betafpv site?

    Interesting comparison. Thanks! Your analog OSD states "10MW"... If that's the VTX, something is odd. I think that VTX doesn't supports 10MW.

    What analog module are you using with your HDZero goggles?

    is it normal that as soon as you arm the quad, it spins up the propellers? it's been kind of annoying as when it crashes, the props still spin unless you disarm it immediately

    • @vertigo2893
      @vertigo2893  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, thats normal. Its called airmode. You need to learn to disarm asap, ideally even before you crash.

    • @TheCivildecay
      @TheCivildecay ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it's called airmode, you can turn it off in betaflight but that also means you shut off the motors when you set throttle to 0% mid flight

    Hello. Who knows how to turn off the LED backlight during flight in Meteor75 Pro?

    Isn't Analog 60 frames? The frames get updated every other line, but it works out to 60 fps I believe.

    • @kratzeni
      @kratzeni หลายเดือนก่อน

      jup thats correct. You can check by recording the screen with your phone @60fps. In the recording you can click through every single frame and you will see that the goggle image changes in each frame. So 60 fps it is. Such a simple test and still I see so many people talking about Analog having 30 fps

    Doesn’t matter if it’s analog or digital. It’s betaFPV, so after a month or 2 you’re going to have a dead esc

    • @Greg__K
      @Greg__K 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      LOL, facts. I've had two 75 Pros esc fail after flying for a season. I think 1102 on 5 amp esc just doesn't work.

      Do you have a recommendation for a 75mm whoop with better durability? Im looking to get my first one.

    • @Greg__K
      @Greg__K 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@OkOk-pj6jt I've owned several Happy Model quads over the years, including the OG mobula7, and never had a problem with their Flight Controllers or ESCs. I think anything from them is a pretty safe bet. Regarding the 75 Pro, the problem is the 1102 motors on a 5 amp esc, it's not a good combo. 1002's with 45mm props can draw over 6 amps... so 1102 is even more so, kinda destined to fail. You shouldn't have that problem on a 75mm whoop with 0802s.
      TLDR; Probably the Mobula7, but the 75 air might not be a bad choice either. If you fly aggressively, probably don't go for the 75 Pro, the esc will fail.

    • @OkOk-pj6jt
      @OkOk-pj6jt 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Greg__K Thanks for your answer! I don’t know much about esc and stuff but this helped me. So I think I’ll probably go with the newer mobula 7. Is it maybe slower than the beta meteors because of the biblades? 🤔 And could you tell me which is the best 75mm generally in your opinion?
      (Sorry for the questions but I can’t decide which one to get.)

    • @Greg__K
      @Greg__K 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@OkOk-pj6jt bi-blades make the same the amount of thrust as tri-blades do. Typically, 3 blades "grip" the air better, more control in the turns. So both will have similar top end speeds, if anything, the bi-blades will produce more thrust.
      What batteries do you have? The new mobula has a PH2.0 connector, which is kinda dated, everything else on that quad looks great though. There's nothing wrong with the 75 Pro, you could even use motor scaling if you're worried about the ESCs. It should last you at least a season of flying regardless though. Otherwise, just get the regular 75 from Beta, or even the 65 Pro, which has 35mm props instead of 40mm, so in between a 65 and 75.
      What's your setup? Radio, goggles, charger, and batteries? What do you own so far?
      Do you practice using a simulator at all? The first step in this hobby is buying a controller and a simulator. Practice that while you accumulate everything you need to fly.
      Some Resources for reviews and knowledge about Tiny Whoops:
      Ciotti - super knowledgeable, but sometimes my preferences difer. He also has his on page on Bardwells site FPVknowitall.com
      Infinity Loops - one of the best micro freestylers. His channel is good for when you're shopping around to see what the quad can do in the right hands.
      Nick Burns - A very solid pilot that is very thorough with his testing.
      It's a rabbit hole lol, tons of stuff you'll learn as you go. Don't let it overwhelm you though. The goal, regardless of how long you've been doing it, get the quad up and flying first, then tweak it. If it's working, DON'T update the software on Betaflight. Just get things working so that you can fly.
      Hopefully that helped.
