10 Years of Angus Baskerville Magic

Today marks the 10th anniversary of the day I completed a three-day beginners magic course at Davenports Magic in 2014 when I first decided I wanted to learn magic, discovering it as my true passion.
Looking back on the journey since that moment, it's been a remarkable 10 years filled with both challenges and triumphs.
From school talent shows to Grand Theater performances, from small parties to significant corporate events, my path led me from magic clubs to becoming a Member of the Magic Circle.
The evolution from busking performances to performing at high profile events, from attending magic classes to running my own magic schools, and progressing from video performances to appearing on TV - each step has been a testament to growth and dedication.
Most significantly, this journey transformed my pursuit from a hobbyist to a full-time professional magician.
There are moments when I need to pinch myself, recognizing the incredible progression.
I would like to thank all those who supported me throughout this decade. The journey wouldn't have been possible without the guidance and inspiration of many.
The closure of Davenports Magic in 2020 was saddening, but I will be forever grateful to them for what they gave me back in January 2014 just before I turned 18.
As I celebrate this milestone, I am excited about the future and the opportunities that lie ahead. Here's to another decade of growth, learning, and magical moments. The key, as always, lies in going where your heart takes you, facing fears, finding your passion and embracing it, and most of all, never giving up.
