    Can you make the lemongrass gel easier to apply. It’s the best but it’s so thick.

    Thank you so much for this video. It was so helpful!! I would love to see a video on how to accurately determine if you have A,B, or C type hair. I’ve tried to do the test multiple times, but to be honest my hair looks like every strand.

      Thanks so much doll! For length retention, make sure you are doing nightly scalp massages with the Essential 17 hair Growth Oil and then deep conditioning weekly. For dryness, do the LOC Method with the Lemongrass Leave In, Glazed Argan and Shea Yogurt. Your hair will be super moisturized!

    Great video! Do you recommend the ACV rinse at each wash?

    Thank you for your review.
    I hv not seen many reviews on using natural hair products in the Caribbean. ....(our forever hot and humid climate).... ...does the full loc/lco method apply for us folks here.??? To me, the full application results in greasy hair.
    Your feedback is appreciated! !!!

      Hi doll, all our products are inspired by Rochelle's upbringing in Jamaica and can certainly work for you down there! Depending on your hair type, would determine the product selection that would best fit. Feel free to send us an email to customerservice@aliakynaturals.com to help you further.

    You mentioned using a natural protein treatment for high porosity hair, can you recommend a good one? That is what I’ve been missing from my routine

    I'm a bit confused. You said for Low Porosity hair, we should do the LOC method before our cuticles close, but to rinse our hair with cold water for the cuticles to close...So should I not rinse with cold water?

    • @patriciapierre9593
      @patriciapierre9593 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Warm water opens low porosity hair cuticle up. Moisturize your hair while it's open then use cold water to close it back up.

      My hair prefers the LCO method. Which porosity would that be? It’ll only stay soft and moisturized when I seal with an oil. It’s too short to do the porosity test.

      @@angelieafavorite6476 I've learned a bit more about porosity and the like over the years. The best way I can determine porosity without doing the porosity test is to consider how much water your hair can take and absorb. If your hair gets soaked easily and dries quickly, you're more than likely high porosity. If your hair takes a while to get wet and stays wet a long time, you're more than likely low porosity. If you have little beads of water that also sits on your hair, that's also a good sign of low porosity. If you feel like your hair is kind of in the middle of these symptoms, you're maybe in the middle with medium porosity. I'm not an expert or anything, but that has worked for me.
