Just over 3 hours into the video. What an absolute belter of a tutorial! I did a couple ECDL courses back a while ago (2014/2015) but work-wise I haven't been using the more advanced features as they haven't been relevant to my role (although I do have an interview coming up where I need to show competence). I wanted to brush up and learn more of the new additions there have been to Excel that have passed me by and this course has been a revelation so far. Definitely one to re-visit time and time again to keep it fresh in my mind. I'm truly grateful as I've no spare funds for a paid course right now and most of my old coursework is a bit outdated / the publisher whose practice files were online appears to be no longer trading, so I've been in a bit of a panic trying to find something intuitive and practical (and safe security wise) to help me out! Have to say this was a brilliant course for those wanting to refresh their Excel skills and get extra tips and tricks for everyday use. Managed to watch the whole thing without losing interest, was very well explained throughout and super useful . thank you very much
I really liked the section on how to jump from one worksheet to another with buttons or icons or text. One thing I've found useful where I sometimes have to jump from one worksheet to another and then back again is that on the sheet I jump to, I create a button there that allows me to jump back. So, in your example I would have a jump button on the sales worksheet that would take me to the analysis worksheet. Then on the analysis worksheet I would create a jump button that takes me back to the sales worksheet. I've been in worksheets before where they have created buttons to take me one way, but then I have to figure out on my own how to get back.
4:20:00 Removing blank row through Ctr+G and deleting Sheet Rows is effective only in case the complete row is blank in case in a row only single cell is blank still it deletes the whole row.
Just a quick comment, love the courses. On the offset section, couldn't really see the change when you changed your range to a table, because you still had the range of the cells in the formula to the extended range.

in 2:39:46 the explanation is not accurate, we just sorted based on the last name! The reason that "East Sussex" on row 6 comes before "London" on row 7 is not that `E` comes before `L`, but because `M` (in "Chambers") comes before `P`( in "Chapel"). The explanation was right if both last names were exactly the same! We can check this by changing "Chambers" to, say, "Chaze" and then "East Sussex" would come after "London"!

04:20:00 I had to select the whole table and then use "Go to special" to select and delete rows. Without selecting it the "Delete Sheet Rows" option was greyed out even though the rows were selected.
Hello,I did the Controling Date Inpot method but just about the Names option was done. Salery and Input are not done. Where is the error and at the same time about the options ? tnx
@SimonSezIT the Go To Special dialog box is not available in Excel 365 (online version). Since this is the case, how do we access the selections in Go To Special dialog box if it doesn't exist in the online version of Excel? Is there a work-around?
Just guessing, but is your excel in another language? Alternatively type "link" or "create link" in the search box at the very top of the window and the function may automatically come out.
Hi Sandra, once you confirm your email through the confirmation link sent to you, you should get a 2nd email containing the download link for the files.
for me the exercise instructions and exercises are not clear even after watching all that videos. even sometimes the video screen is not visible properly to see what instructor is dooing

What could be the reason for CTRL + K not working? It does nothing when I want to create a link. 🤔
Just guessing, but is your excel in another language? Alternatively type "link" or "create link" in the search box at the very top of the window and the function may automatically come out.
Exellent course but files are still not available to downloaad. Such a shame. All that is returned is a email containing adverts no link io the files.
Hi Sandra, once you confirm your email through the confirmation link sent to you, you should get a 2nd email containing the download link for the files.
for me the exercise instructions and exercises are not clear even after watching all that videos. even sometimes the video screen is not visible properly to see what instructor is dooing
