36:30 for Hetti Perkins interview. I kid you not, this is the most informative, interesting, elaborate and engaging content I have come by re: the 2023 Australian referendum. Completely agree with Sticky on this one. So well spoken, all of you! - Tyson, Hetti & StiFi You’ve really brought this issue to the audience’s front in a respectful and very thoughtfully constructive manner. Awesome, awesome effort! Much love
I started listening to you boys just last year. Your music hit me hard, my dad was dying of cancer at the time and I couldn't stop listening to your music, so much feeling in it. Since then I've listened to every track watched every music video and seen you boys in Manchester this year. Hungry for more Sticky Fingers, can't wait for the next album and next tour, some boys, love 🤍
Sadly, the referendum did not pass. 😢Can someone tell me what were the arguments for voting against this? It seems like a “ no brainer” to vote yes. Is racism the main problem here? Indigenous people absolutely need to be heard and respected.
How rights for all Australians is even labelled politics shows how far we need to go. This comment section as with instagrams is pretty disappointing. It takes courage to put this information out there and I think how easily articulate and respectful dialogue rolled off your tongue it’s a testament to your authenticity on the matter. Great to see the next gen of Stickies slightly more profound, slightly more distinguished and slightly more educated. As a big fan of your music but sometimes not your shenanigans I was happy to see growth on this podcast.
Saemus always cracks me up. The guy is like a paragon of mellowness. I am halfway through Belly of the Beast and it's made me go back and relisten to all the albums.
My favorite music vids by yall are the simple ones with you all acting a fool. I'm sure it wasn't fun for them to make but the pure joy yall have in stuff like Freddy Crabs w/ the cheesy acting and especially in Snafu is just so much fun to watch. I really don't think the mark is to be like everyone else but I also understand that you've got to follow the numbers... Idk, the first bit of this podcast had me wondering some things. I'll get back to this listen later.
The first videoclip that I watch was Clouds and Cream in 2015. Since so i am a big fan of sticky fingers. I dont know english but i try because i believe i will find that guys and give a big hug and say how I love STIFI. I went to the show in sept - 2022 the best thing in my life.
Thank you for this informative podcast. Sadly, I see the referendum did not pass. Keep the issues of underserved populations in your sights. I loved hearing all of you talking about musical and medical 😮inroads with the indigenous people. And the tribal warrior program sounds amazing! So cool!🙌🏼👊🏽🫶🏽🧡
If you wanna be in the music industry you need your own label, selling out to the industry then moaning isn’t the way to do it. Music should be truth not manipulation
Why is sticky getting into Australian politics, remember what happened last time you talked about indigenous people, you got blacklisted by the country!
Fucking way to be a Karen bro. Anyone can get into politics is not exclusive. Bands have been starting revolutions from the beginning of time and your shocked and appalled Stickies are speaking up on matters that mean something to them. You’re anger doesn’t make sense? Man bands in Australia are damned if they do damned if they don’t. People fuck up. People apologise and people move on. Your tall poppy syndrome reeks. Let people be make mistakes and learn from them and try to bring forward positivity. It’s not that hard really.
The lead singer supported an indigenous band at a gig who had a psycho lead singer shouting at everyone like You in your stupid comment. And then an absolute moron called Thelma Plum decided to tweet that dylan was a racist even tho he's indigenous, and was attending an indigenous bands gig, and she wasn't even there 😂 thats what happened you absolute Hermione Granger fuck wit.
STIFI is doing a great job sharing their insight into important issues with us. I love that they are helping to bring access to music to underserved populations! Way to go!👊🏽

Getting into the conversation at our request as Aboriginal people who are proud to count these band members as family ❤️🖤💛
