Typically, having been born and lived for the first twelve years of my life in a US territory(Guam) they have a central government. Kind of like... How a country does. The United States owns the land, but the interior affairs of these territories are handled by the land's government. The president handles exterior affairs. He doesn't have the same power as he would with the states.

As a Trump supporter, some of them are pretty bad slips of the tongue I’ll admit, he probably even fully believes in a few of them, but I noticed a lot of them are also very out of context with the original speech.
He’s definitely not a very articulate speaker like Obama was, but Biden is downright awful. I can’t follow anything he says whether it’s the mixing up of names and countries or the slurred speech, mumbling and erratic, stumbling of sentence structure
I'm no Trump fan, in fact, I despised most of what he stood for but the fact is that ALL of the Presidents made some gaffes during their time in office, even Obama, whom I think ought to go down in history as one of the best Presidents of all time made some really embarrassing blunders when he was in office.
Even all of the historical greats like George Washington, the first-ever US President and the latter Abraham Lincoln, they all probably made mistakes, blunders, gaffes etc during speeches in their time, only they didn't have to worry about them being recorded for people to see them on TH-cam.
At the end of the day, it's not Trump's gaffes that I hold against him or any of the others, I could forgive him and all of them for those human errors, it was Trumps coldness and lack of human empathy that I saw as the REAL issue with Trump, there has never been a less warm, less humane US President than Trump
He can't spell the simplest of words and has the grammar skills of a kindergartner. Can't even put together a proper sentence. Those are not just gaffes

If they were truly interested in being fair then they would acknowledge Trump's gaffs too and he made plenty, like his "inject people with disinfectant" suggestion for dealing with Covid.
Imagine what they would have said had Biden or Former President Obama come out with something so ridiculous, and more than ridiculous, what Trump said was downright irresponsible and very dangerous because some people might have followed his advice understandably thinking "hey, well, he's the President, he must know what he's talking about so if he says we should do this then it must be OK".
