Nashville-based rock band Jonathan Jackson + Enation released their fourth studio album Radio Cinematic last fall on Loud & Proud Records.The foundations of Enation started with brothers Jonathan Jackson, a five-time Emmy award winning actor, and his brother Richard Lee Jackson, who were raised in Battle Ground, WA and moved to Hollywood, CA to pursue acting careers at a young age. Music was in their blood, as their father Ricky Lee Jackson was a Nashville country-recording artist. The brothers began playing music together over the years, culminating in Enation alongside longtime friend and bass player Daniel Sweatt.

JJ is an amazing actor and “The Hands of Your Drug,” always hits close to me. All of these songs at sung to the soul. Not all writers can do this. “All of us out here are asking the same thing. What’s it going to take for you to come clean? Maybe you just haven’t suffered enough at the hands of your drug.” SMH. Lost my best friend at the hands of his drug. It took an amazing life. “How many tears can you cry in one life? I don’t know how to help you see the light!” Great song.
