I took on backpacking after years of being mentally and physically weighed down during traveling. over packing interfered with what I can use for transport, how easy it is to transport, the mental strain of keeping track of all my stuff, etc.

this was a nice refresher! I am also a long time minimalist packer & have definitely used your older packing videos for tips in the past as well, so thank you! Ive noticed that it's been getting harder for me to pack light recently, idk.. I agree that it is way easier as long as you plan. It's also nice not having to wait at baggage claim or worry about the check-in counters. Most of my pieces are thrifts and items very meaningful to me so I like to keep them close. Minimal packing helps reduce possibly forgetting things to repack when coming home too. It is a puzzle for sure, every bit of fabric needs to be folded perfectly. Looking forward to possibly some CO travel footage.
