Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is a strategy action role-playing video game developed and published by TaleWorlds Entertainment, and co-published by Prime Matter. It is a prequel to Mount & Blade: Warband, a stand-alone expansion for the 2008 game Mount & Blade.
Bannerlord takes place 210 years before its predecessor, with a setting inspired by the Migration Period. Bannerlord was announced in 2012. A Steam page for the game was created in late 2015; the following year, TaleWorlds began releasing weekly developer diaries detailing elements of the game. An early access version of the game was released on March 27, 2020 and quickly became the largest launch of the year on Steam, achieving nearly 250,000 concurrent players on Steam.
The game was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on October 25, 2022.

archers only is literally the easiest way to play. they're so op because if you manage them properly they never die. I've killed 300+ enemies with 100 batan fians with 0 deaths.

Tbf, fians are probably the most out of balance unit and the most powerful single unit in the game, because they’re competitive as shock infantry, while being the best archers in the game

Did you use the engage command in your horse archers? I saw they were backing off weirdly. If so, it's better not to use it, the command is really bad, just makes your units die in normal battles. It's better to tell horse archers to charge, then they will start circling the enemy, shooting the troops with shields from behind when they are going for your archers. Tbh I don't think that command works well with any type of troops, they spend more time running away than actually fighting.
I did you're correct! I'll have to try out the charge command for my mounted house archers, I've always just used engage cause I thought it would keep them from melee. Thanks for the tip man!
