Watercolor Flowers on Old Book Paper - Nice for Junk Journals

🌞 Instead of watercolor paper I am using old book paper today to sketch and paint some loose flowers. This technique is a great way to create some beautiful junk journal papers. I am using three different papers today.

I have a set of mijello Misson Gold. Good paints. I have Van Gogh. I like them both. I use arches cold watercolor paper. I don't use cheap papers. Even bad watercolorists work looks better on good papers

I enjoyed this video so much before Christmas that I had to track the pens down. I found them at officeworks in Australia. So I bought two . One for my crafty little grandaughter. Now I’m back to watch , so she can watch and use the pen . TFS this video. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🙏🙏🙏🤗🤗🤗

Beautiful!! The pentel pocket brush has been a challenge for me for the last year ( my other teacher uses it for details and eyelashes) so it’s nice to see another artist using it to make me try it again. The mini pocket brush is a little easier to use. Love your paper too but not sure where I can find something like that. Any suggestions? For USA? Never heard bible paper. I want writing because it makes it look vintage . Why not canson xl? Just curious ? I stick w watercolor paper even w mixed media anyway. I use Daniel smith and have absorbing ground to prep paper. I have watercolors for years and trying acrylic and gelli printing . Thank you for all the great video and sharing supplies

I have them in plastic boxed near my desk. But a nicer organized way to use them would be a clear document folder for example.

Beautiful! I love the idea of painting on book pages and I like the thin/thick lines with that pen. For anyone interested Creative Mark has Mimik watercolor brushes that are affordable and excellent. They are one of my favorite brands. You can get them on amazon or at Jerry's Artarama online.
