You sound as if you're pretty beleagured right now and I'm sorry about that. Honestly, stories that are better written or have been polished up are fine, people will just have to make up their own minds what is true and what isn't, just like always :) I think you do a great job, you're a channel I have stuck with for years and you have some of the best of the more unusual cryptid stories which are what I love. I just re-listened to some of your old stories - including "The Lantern, The Boatmen and the Crying Children" and it's still creepy as all get out. And it sounds professionally written. I like that. Do people want a bunch of stories written in the same way as people speak? It would get annoying fast and age badly but instead that one is a classic. You're making the right choice. Also I remember comments from people saying that listening to well-written stories helps them to learn English, so there's that, too. At the end of the day you're not a public servant, you're not obligated to do any videos for us, and I appreciate what you do. Don't let the bastards grind you down, as we say over here. If you can, smile and tell them that their comments count as engagement for the Algorithm God ... what they say doesn't matter to it!

They have nothing better to do so it's best to ignore them. Besides, as someone else pointed out, even negative comments count as interaction so whether they like it or not, their negative comments actually help your channel! The algorithm sees how many comments you have and recommends your videos to people who are not yet subscribed based on that number. Heck, that's how I found you I think.... Unless it was a collab you did with Let's Read, J Nightmare, Raven Reads, or one of the other half dozen horror narration channels I'm subbed to. I'm writing this one because I read your comment about not being able to satisfy your listeners. In Spanish, “snake” translates into “serpiente”. The occult etymology of this word is “ser sapiente”, something like “the one that knows”. Beware of these animals: they are smarter than you...
