Flea is obviously the secret sauce of the Chili Peppers. He's been there the whole time, played on every album and without him the Chili Peppers would not be the Chili Peppers, while they have had a number of guitarists who all did a decent job.
@@judahspindler6170 I disagree. All the best albums have Frusciante... and I love Flea and Hillel... Even starting from Blood Sugar... tag every subsequent record with a score and John's almbums usually get 10/10s. +T5 i love this song too. it totally showcases how influential and amazing and creative john is. one of the very few i have ever heard that can say so much without a single lyric.
Je ne connaissait rien de sa carrière solo, jusqu'à hier, par hasard, ce petit morceaux est génial ! Je me réjouis de 'écouter, voire essayer de jouer ce petit bijoux
I always forget the lyrics to this song, but then I remember ''Hey! This song has no lyrics!''. Must be because even without words, John Frusciante manages to provoke thoughts, emotions. A mute ascension into divinity.
When I bought the cd and looked into the lyrics book, I was like "wait, why is there no lyrics for this song ?" And then I remembered that it was an instrumental lol
This song is a masterpiece. Simple yet energic, provokes many different emotions. To succeed this by so few notes and chords is an entirely different level of musicianship.
This song is so amazing, he uses such simple notes yet it always moves me. I think that's what makes him so great, he doesn't have to play fast riffs or extremely complicated chords to make great music!
As a HUGE Wu Tang Clan fan The RZA is the one who put me on to John Frusciante. The man is a genius. I dont know much about this genre of music but I'll take this over 99% of the lousy "rap" music that gets put out today. Between this song and Central..blew my mind.
Irontom tocándola en la previa a Red Hot en el fin de la gira el 26/11❤❤❤❤ todo es belleza en este fin de año, espero vuelvan pronto queridos peppers y John, te amo, no te vayas nunca más!
This is one of the most badass instrumentals in existence. When I heard it for the 2nd time ever, I actually had to keep myself from bawling like a little kid. That's how badass it is.
He took that specific album off of the market for that very reason. John is very clean and has found spirituality through his music after a long battle of drug addiction. It is true that a lot of John's music was induced by drugs but he doesnt need drugs to be, as you say, "John Frusciante". He was sober during Stadium Arcadium which is, in my opinion, some of John's most beautiful music.
It kinda reminds me of a song in a Nintendo or Sega game. John is one of my biggest guitar influences. I knew I wanted to play guitar when I first heard "Under The Bridge" all those years ago.
I don't mind that he has a small crowd along his solo work, it gets more personal and a bigger feeling to it when the few of us that like his music comment about how we feel when we listen to it and all. Instead of overrated populare "music" where people only comments on their looks, the half naked girls in the music videos and stuff like that. I'm glad that people like John and his fans excist, people that care to put their time and energy into this type of music
This song played before a movie started in the cinema. I shouted in joy "THIS IS JOHN FRUSCTIANTE OH MY FUCKING GOD!" everyone stared. Still, I was full of joy. Best day of my life.
Heard this song on a sports radio show years ago and spent that much time looking for it. So I downloaded a song finder app and hummed it as best I could and HOLY SHIT I FOUND IT!!!!!! Spent 3 years trying to type out the melody somehow on Google hoping some one was as dumb as me lmao but 2 minutes to download and hum the song on an app and here I am!!!! Now to illegally pirate the song off the Internet and my day is complete!!!!!!....besides the 9 hours of work left to do.
I love that entire album, even if it reminds me of people that cut me very deeply, the music did something else for me. I thoroughly enjoy when John plays stuff that's not on the traditional side of most music, the odd abstract stuff really speaks to me.

Find a way to make it happen, Jesus. Learning to play an instrument will let you live a more fulfilled life in general, its just a great thing. With enough practice you yourself could be making tunes like this one here.
Marinthees well school is so fucking strict in my country every we have an exam it's fucking shit i dont have time but i will finish school after 1 year so yeah i am gonna go to uni and i am gonna have some time so i am gonna spend it practicing guitar
I want to learn how to play too, but where I'm from, guitars are so f*cking expensive, let alone the electric ones and the amps and the pedals, etc... I swear someday I'm going to rob one if I stay like this.
Radiohead - Reckoner Yorke admitted a John Frusciante influence, claiming the guitar riff "was sort of a homage to [him], in my sort of clunky ‘can't-really-pick' kind of way" characteristic of Red Hot Chili Peppers.
*huge John Frusciante fan speaking* I wonder why this sing out of all his others during this era of John got the most popularity. To me it just sounds like one of his other songs in his creative spree... A melody that was composed in his head, written down, and played. Also, it was one of the only songs of his that was played on the radio. Perhaps that was a factor to its outlierish success.
steelyfanz675 I think that maybe it was the fact that this was one of his early forays into drum machines? Nowdays when he programs drum machines, he can hardly let them play one beat before violently altering the drum machine again. People like simple stuff.
rockin this at work, still sounds awesome through this tweeny incase speaker.. cant wait to hear this with the setup back home. hmm... this on the bus + koss portapros should be a chill ride too
I just wanted to say I used to watch a video about a guy balancing rocks called Balance Point by Danny Brown and finally find the song on the video after 10+ years. A good friend I used to play games and smoke with while watching videos (that always included the above) has since had some mental issues and now lives on the streets but one of the days I drive by I'm going to blast this (now that I can download it) and hope it reminds him of better times. Maybe I'll get to talk to the guy I once knew.
John Frusciante is an absolute genius of creating music that touches the bottom of your soul.
This man is phenomenal! It has always been clear that he was RHCP's secret weapon. His guitar skills touch my soul!!

this album is ethereal. makes me feel like im visiting another plain of existence. it gives off an alien/spirit-like vibe.

Why must we argue in the midst of this beautiful music? Can't we all just listen, and enjoy the fact that we all love this song?

The Chili Peppers are now a tribute band without John it pains me to say.

un poco pero john tiene su estilo claro
