I'm peak Challenger 950 in NA region. I regularly hit Challenger most sets.
I'm currently Masters 200 LP atm.
I hit GM 490 2 Weeks into the set but I had some IRL situations (eviction) where I couldn't play TFT for a while causing me to derank.

How would you normally play the early game if you want to go the Lee sin variant? It makes sense to flex sage with ap items but I feel like the heavenly line is a much easier transition into Lee carry
Yep! Heavenly is a great way to play this line.
I've played this comp with both the Storyweaver and many different openers.
For Storyweavers my favourite item holder is actually Riven. Just make sure to hold another on on bench!

Question: why not build around the carry but the tank instead ?
The carry you are playing around is based on your items. You're not going to be holding Lillia's if you have Lee Sin items right?
The front line is based on what you hit. So let's say you have Lillia items and you roll down and hit Annie 2 before Nautilus, now you know you are playing around the Annie variation frontline instead of the Warden. I see people hold everything and get dizzy even after you can see they clearly established their front line. This is why I made this video.
