I have to confess that when I first got into Twice I really didn't get Nayeon. I thought she was a bit arrogant... but the more I watched Twice content, the more I realised she's just a quirky person who doesn't take herself seriously at all. She went from my least favorite member to my ult bias. I'm pretty sure she's a genius... she's so quick witted. She's awesome. (But still OT9 also cause, you know, TWICE!)
I have to confess too.. Nayeon remind me to my late mother and that make me hard to see Nayeon.. but now, she is my bias in my biases 😅.. I want unnie like her too 😊
Not sure if Nayeon is a genius, but she IS a LOT smarter than she gets credit for -- she's the only Twice member to have gotten into and attended university… and dropped out when it became clear she'd finally debut. She also said she was the studious type during school, which is probably why that "Nerd" outfit she's worn on some of the "ABCD" promotions works so well for her 😄
Nayeon is humble and funny but kind of straight forward person to speak out what she think. Especially when ppl around are her close friends, she never take things seriously and just joke around 😂
My real first exposure to Twice was Fancy MV. Nayeon is the first member on that and I dont like her at all. Until I watch these little clip that Once made like this one. Now she is my ultimate bias.
Nayeon was always my favorite member in Twice and I love her a lot. I really like some of the other members too, but to me they simply can't compete with Nayeon. She is just too pretty, cute and funny, has the best personality, and I relate to her a lot because she is the only idol I know who has a personality that is very similar to mine!🩵
For the record, this manager seems to be a different one from the heavy-set woman with a similar hairstyle who's been Twice's manager for MUCH longer than 3 years (the one who comforts Sana during a thunderstorm-related breakdown and is also in the background during Nayeon's "ABCD" recording session). _That_ manager is "Twice's 10th member"… Confused? So am I… Plus, Nayeon admits she's not the most approachable Idol due to her introversion

There's another manager, heavier, who's been around far longer (yes I checked old footage), often shows up in videos, and seems to jive well with everyone -- that woman, not this one, appears to be their primary manager, so I can't imagine Nayeon lowkey dissing HER. Bruh, the individual managers don’t possess that level of power to influence who gets exposure and who doesn’t; their job is pretty much limited to handling the artists’ schedules and day-to-day drill. Yes, they do act as a bridge between the artist and the company, but managing the activities (collabs, comebacks, opportunities) of an idol are the core duties of the AR and Planning departments. And from what I can see, the manager IS fragile- she is reserved and tends to take things personally (you could gauge that she’s sensitive to perceived slights). Such people typically don’t gel well with individuals who toe the line while messing around (Exhibit A: Nayeon. She, by no means, is in the wrong, but her playfulness would work with those who share and would appreciate her sense of humour without getting offended). As for gaslighting, can’t comment; this is the first time I’ve come across a video of this person. In a nutshell, this just seems like a case of clashing personalities and nothing more; could use some interpersonal bonding work since they’re in this for the long haul.

I'm the same way. Years ago it confused my then-GF, so my mother had to explain "That's just how he is. If he didn't like you, he'd ignore you." Not everyone is able to handle or accept that sort of personality.
