Yes I use it to protect against UV light. It’s called vet wrap or self-adhesive wrap 🥰
Российские мастера такую форму ногтей и их толщину точно забракуют. А вот сам эффект классный! Я буду пробовать делать аврору, но не с такой формой ногтя. Мы такую форму называем пирожки. Да и толщина получилась уж очень толстой.

Bạn ơi, khi dùng gel gắn móng, gỡ móng thì bạn làm thế nào vậy. Mình dùng keo dính không chắc (không hiểu tại sao, với lại dùng keo xong thì móng sẽ rất gồ sau khi bóc nên mình thường dùng miếng dán, nhưng không được 1 tuần đâu) thấy bạn dùng gel lại thấy nói giữ được 1 tuần hơn làm mình cũng ham( dù mình cũng nhanh chán lắm, nhưng được cái có vẻ chắc) Thanks bạn nhiều nha
Mình hay dùng base lột để gỡ cho nhanh vì mình cũng hay đổi móng nè. Mình có video về base lột bạn có thể xem thử nha. Còn nếu không thì mình sẽ mài và ủ bằng acetone để sạch gel hoàn toàn trên móng 💙

What is the purpose of mermaid powder that other people apply in their videos? I want to try these nails with cat eye effect but I'm confused when to put mermaid powder. Do you have any idea? This will be my first time trying :')
I think it gives the nail a layer of color-shifting sheen and help hiding the aurora film (idk how to word it) so more cohesive look. For this video I did try to apply some powder as the last step but I removed it because it made the nail look kinda dull. You can always apply powder after the finishing top coat and see if you like it. If you don’t like how it look then remove it with alcohol wipes. For me these nails are very random and it depends on what powder you use. Give it some try with and without powder, I’m sure you can figure out how you like it 🥰
From what I have seen, simple aurora nails is 2 layer of color-shifting thing laying on top of each other to create the ice effect. The cat eye I use already has 1 color (shifting from blue to green) so I just need to add 1 more and it’s the aurora film. But I could be wrong though 😅😅😅

c ơi mình có áp dụng cách đắp gel ibd kia để dán foil k ạ,tại mình mua thử cái keo và deo dính foil mà chỗ dc chỗ k,k biết do kĩ thuật của tớ k tốt hay k nữa vì cx lôi hơn chục miếng móng gủa ra thử mà n cứ nhem nhổ chỗ dc chỗ k mà cáu hic😩
Bạn dùng loại keo màu trắng sữa tự khô hay là dạng gel hơ máy ạ?

Loại keo sữa mình ko thích dùng lắm. Còn loại gel mình hay xài thì phải hơ thật khô mới dính foil nha, bạn thử hơ 2p xem sao
Mua foil gel sài, mấy đúng công suất trong ngành nail hơ 30s là dính foil rất mướt. Máy đèn hơ loại thấp thì hơ 120s nhé.

@@moomooah hồi đó làm vội mất cả buổi mới được 1 móng, í là chị làm sơn gel màu thường đó. Vừa làm vừa tưởng hết 10 ngón chắc bỏ của chay quách ra tiệm cho nó lành🤣

wouldnt it work to paint on a foil glue and get the foil on that way? would make them less thick.
I personally don't think foil glue would work the same way, because:
- It's not a foil, just a shiny film like the one you use to wrap presents so it won't transfer to the foil glue.
- The film needs to lay flat to the surface of the nail to get the color shifting effect so I use a very thick builder gel to keep it in place (foil glue is more watery, it won't stay in the same place when you use a large amount).
- And finally the thickness affects the effect which means the thicker the better it shows up.
Here's just my thought about it. You can try and see if foil glue works for you 🥰
@@moomooah But foil glue is for fastening the foil that you're using, is called. Didnt you know theres glue for this? 😧Look it up, theres a ton of videos on it. You apply it, press the foil down and it sticks so you dont have to use so much gel and make the nail so thick. :)
Yes I have foil glue but as I said the film need to lay flat on the nail so I have to use lots of gel (nails are C-curved). I’ve tried many ways to make it less thick but it did not look as good. That’s the way I prefer but if foil glue works for you then great 💙💙💙
I understand your point but if you stick the film curly (to the nail C curve), it won’t give the same effect. You can try it out yourself and see the difference 😄
@@moomooah Nono, it needs to be smooth out so it's on without bubbles or "curls" as in the videos and then you take it off and the pattern of the foil has stuck on the nail, its really super smooth. Cudos to you for fastening the foil this way though, I managed a set myself but it didnt turn out this well since I didnt want a lot of gel on. :)

Why are yer fingers wrapped?
I do gel nails so my skin got exposed to UV light for a long time. Despite applying sunscreen, the skin near my cuticles became darker than the whole hand. So I wrap it with bandage for extra protection 💙

Like she said, to her, she doesn't find them as pretty when they are thinner. And I can see why she believes that. It's like light going through glass, sometimes more layers helps. Here we see that there is so much dynamic and luster to it. The sides being thick, you see so many different color changes. From the top, it's almost like water being hit by the sun. It's reflective and beautiful. And while you can get similar effects with them thinner, I haven't seen thin ones give this much... especially from the side view. Yes, thickness is usually avoided. I know I personally couldn't wear nails that thick. But she looks at them like stones, I see marble.
