Yeah which is why ego lifting does nothing but pose a risk for injury, working out is a consistency and patience thing. Some people lack that which leads to stuff that were in this video.

1:26 did you notice the rubber bands? good trick, stack a bunch of weights to make you look strong, then secretly a bunch of rubber bands to counter the weights.
I've been a gym rat since I was 18 and am now 50. I admit I've had some bad workouts and form throughout my years but nothing like any of that. When you are young your body will bounce back, but even minor injuries add up over the years. Getting older it all catches up to you. Now I'm dealing with a partial rotator cuff tear after doing military presses for 20+ years. You have to know your body and your limitations.

as long as the reps don't exceed 12, you gain strength
Well that's a lie. So, someone doing 225 for five is gonna be the same strength as someone doing 315 for five?
If you are benching 220 for 5 and want to bench 225 but you can't even do 1 rep then maybe your comment might be correct
