Celsius has intuitive numbers for water freezing and boiling, but for daily life it’s not intuitive. It’s supposed to be a scale of 0-100 yet the actual scale for daily life is like -5-35. Fahrenheit is memorization for freezing and boiling point though but the scale we use for daily life legitimately is from about 0 to about 100

i got to hang out with my friend this year for his family tradition of watching V for Vendetta every Guy Fawkes day, it was wonderful 😂 side note: the acting (and writing) in this one is absolutely incredible as always!! i feel so immersed with every one of your audios i swear. and man i like fireworks but it always pains me how long they last - like in the US, july fourth is a NIGHTMARE to anyone with dogs, veterans with PTSD, or anyone who just doesn't like loud noises. kind of ironic considering how it's supposed to be celebrating the end of a war... with sounds you'd find in a war.

I'm a British woman so it always surprised me when i found out that people outside of the UK didn't celebrate bonfire night ....also yes being British or Scottish really helps with cold weather 😂

I didn't even think that was possible, and of course I had to miss out on it due to skepticism! I stayed indoors watching The Hobbit, only to see everyone else's pictures on Facebook the next morning. Now I listening to this just to try and compensate! ☹☹☹

I hate to tell you this, boyo...but the harder you try to deny that you're scared of fireworks, the funnier it is when you do jump. We must not be very close to the source of the fireworks; I've noticed that when you're close enough you can see the trail of the little rockets being launched into the sky (and the closer you are, the more trails you see), which, if he could see those it would make it easier to know when there was about to be an explosion. Of course, it's also louder the closer you get, so there's a tradeoff.
