Give yourself a pat on the back when you come up with something that isn't pedestrian and derivative, but always have a critical ear for where it can be improved. Enjoy the creative process and the resulting oeuvre. (That's not a spelling mistake. Look it up). Taking this approach means your ego won't be crushed by the glacier of indifference that slowly rolls across your back catalogue, while the rest of the world is listening to the latest Taylor Swift choon, or whatever dross they've been told to listen to. Most people are bots when it comes to music, the industry is a closed shop, it has been for decades and your competition also includes everyone who thinks they're going to be able to spurf out a banger from their bedroom just because they have a laptop and a cracked copy of Ableton . the fact of the matter is that it is very possible to have a profitable career even in a very niche genre of music which wasnt at all possible in the past because u had to be signed to basically have a career at all. the internet allows us to put our music in places where billions of people could theoretically hear it, but that also means every other dickhead with a cracked copy of fl studio can too. it’s a sea of filth to wade through, is why you don’t get new listeners for just having listenable music. you have to market yourself and promote your music in ways that other people won’t or can’t. going viral is not the result of one lucky night. it’s the result of putting out your 7th tape even tho your 6th got 400 plays but one song got turned into a meme and went nuclear. it’s the result of posting your 30th reel in 2 months that somehow found its way onto the explore page because the algorithm decided u finally ticked a box that keeps people on the app for a couple seconds longer. your life can change in 24 hours but it won’t happen in 24 hours. i feel like it’s easier to make good music than it is to blow up. you’ll usually just stumble upon it after you put enough time (given you’re actually trying to improve) but you’ll probably never “blow up” if you don’t use the tools at your disposal and/or can’t maintain consistency.

I recently released my first EP "Silent Determination" and have been following every step of it. Now I've finally grasped the concept of promoting my shitty music. All I have to do is give my credit card details to the Indian spotify/soundcloud promoter guys to create a real growth of bots. Thx for the tip!
make a dope ass beat and post it on youtube, if its not some shitty rap +1 point, put an actual cool anime wallpaper thingy like koruse if you want. or just create the greatest song in your entire life which will be your peak until the algorithm blesses you once again. Essentially yeah, I say TH-cam shorts and vids of your music will be better than the cancer that is tiktok atm. That and the void of SoundCloud will always work ig. Worked with Juice
The problem with most of those "new artists" is that they all sound the same. None offer anything new or different. If you don't have anything interesting to offer, no matter how much you promote, you won't get anywhere
One unhinged shit I learned how to promote your beats are like putting girls thirsttrapping you w you beats as background music Like I promote my music w visualizers and high quality shi and next thing I see his some girl from the other class lipsyncing to some random ass song while the comments only consist of:“😍🥰omg you look so hot“ so the moral I learned outta this was: put a vid of a girl singing w yo beat onnit, do that everyday 2x and you get your fame, then do facereveal and loose everything

That last method actually seems like a genuine way to build a decent following towards your music
6:33 ARIES MENTIONED🗣️🔥‼️
he said it like i wish i had the courage to just sell my soul to tiktok
I don't understand why people use girls as their song cover.... it's not gotta make your music less shxtty.
When he said he was going to sing, everyone laughed, but when he opened his mouth, everyone cried
i am a closeted homosexual that makes hyperpop and watches ownerscloset on the weeknd when my project is due at 11:59pm tonight and i havent started
Ultimate answer from title question - money.
you forgot at 1:07 the dm from a bot
5:12 when the teacher forces everyone on the canvas discussion post to respond to at least one other person's answer:
6:44 no way i know that guy!
that reply had me dead
@@ownersclosetthe british accent had me dead 😭

I recently released my first EP "Silent Determination" and have been following every step of it. Now I've finally grasped the concept of promoting my shitty music. All I have to do is give my credit card details to the Indian spotify/soundcloud promoter guys to create a real growth of bots.
Thx for the tip!
3:28 2/10=1/5 so we good lol
Bro making them old school I forgot the depressing guy who used to make the 808 mafia dark beats but most guys gonna kno exactly who I’m talking about
2:15 blud jus got free promo😭😭😭
the last one is fr the best one
make a dope ass beat and post it on youtube, if its not some shitty rap +1 point, put an actual cool anime wallpaper thingy like koruse if you want. or just create the greatest song in your entire life which will be your peak until the algorithm blesses you once again. (the fatrat kinda gets 500k+ views average but he peaked in 2016-7 with 200 million views)
what the hell am i yapping bout
@@2miligramsI mean shiii this made sense to my sleep deprived ass so I think ur good??? Extra points if it ain’t shitty is what ima live by now

I have come to the conclusion he is tone deaf
Lmaooo
tbfh i dont even know how to promote the shit i make my music is solely for people that have adhd
Nah i actually fw the "is he next up" sbits bc its genuine promotion, from smaller accounts maybe but shi its like theshaderoom but underground 😂
you want to teach us how to promote our music.... yet this had 0 views.... curious...
vids brand new 😭😭
It's brand new nigga 💀
My problem is that I just wanna make music, not to be frkn self promoter. This sht takes so much energy from me but if you have no money for promote, you cant be listened by many people. Thats sad. Ok, Im going to take my guitar, cry and make another deathcore music track
Fire video
You earned a sub man this video already has me rolling 20 seconds in
So basically do TikTok or dont do music. Lovely
Essentially yeah, I say TH-cam shorts and vids of your music will be better than the cancer that is tiktok atm. That and the void of SoundCloud will always work ig. Worked with Juice
The problem with most of those "new artists" is that they all sound the same. None offer anything new or different. If you don't have anything interesting to offer, no matter how much you promote, you won't get anywhere
bro's voice sounds like the fnaf help wanted/sister location guide guy and the 'Xavier Renegade Angel' dude combined...which is good
0:53 What? You can't just slap a random name! You have to spend at least couple of hours figuring out THE PERFECT NAME for your song!
Who uses soundcloud in this day and age 💀
Me

Gorraaxxis, characteristik and DarkHarmony05 do I think probably
@@CORNZILAA fresh ass comment
One unhinged shit I learned how to promote your beats are like putting girls thirsttrapping you w you beats as background music
Like I promote my music w visualizers and high quality shi and next thing I see his some girl from the other class lipsyncing to some random ass song while the comments only consist of:“😍🥰omg you look so hot“ so the moral I learned outta this was: put a vid of a girl singing w yo beat onnit, do that everyday 2x and you get your fame, then do facereveal and loose everything
Finally! A relatable title!
