This is so common now a days, it's her baby she chooses what to teach and feed her baby so this mom can 100% also make this decision as well. If the child decides to take them out when they're older than so be it.

After the first one you can see her stop crying im pretty sure after the second one she was fine as well and if it does happen to get infected theres drs hospitals etc for a reason. Plus if you clean it and its the right earing for her it wont get infected.
I don't know if I'd do it with my kid but I'm definitely not hating on mom's that do! Most kids ask for them when they go to school and see other kids with them as well and if she doesn't want them she can always take them out.

I personally don’t think it’s a good idea to pierce children’s ears. Wait until their old enough and can make a decision.
