Thanks! After labor day the crowds slow waaaaaay down. It's awesome because it's typical OC minus the crowds. Locals summer is what we call it. Still great fishing too!
I decided to try the bulkhead ,so I walked around the corner from my place and saw you all fishing. I was going to say hi but I didn't want to bother you all. I was fishing to the left of you for a little. I kept getting hung up in the rocks, going through several bucktaiks
That's what it's all about. A great time with the family. I have a feeling this fall and winter here is going to be slower the previous years here at the beach. It won't belong before the off season specials begin.

For some reason I'm very picky over BBQ....if it's even a little dry it ruins it for me. So I' sure my reviews wouldn't be good hahaha but there are plenty of good places. I still have to try Smokers BBQ on 611 since they changed owners.
We got the Italian Cold Cut at ‘Your Store Market’ the other day and it was good but my favorite Italian is still Billy’s Subs. I like the way they thinly slice the onions and the meat/veggie ratio is top notch, plus the roll great. Maybe do some Italian Sub reviews? Just a thought. It’s the way I always judge a deli. We do like Southside too.
Expect to lose some rigs, we lost about 4 or 5 the last time we were there. I think this is one of the better spots to fish, but the only problem is snags. If you can figure out how to not snag (finding holes in rocks, etc) you won't snag as much.
I was in Ocean City for the Labor Day weekend and our group are shocked how much pizzas cost in this town. They want $30-$40 bucks for a 16" with some toppings. The cost to make a Pizza is very low, like less than $5 .. so its just greed !!! I didn't buy a pizza , just went to the American Legion and got some good cheap food. Food inflation is bad enough without adding more costs for Tourist Tax. The property taxes in OC are very high..all the properties went up , yet they didn't reduce the tax rates.
Wow! Where did you get the pizzas from? We've done A LOT of pizza reviews all over OC and haven't seen any that high. Granted we only get cheese, they are all relatively the same at about $20 for a large. The property tax rates are like that across the country due to the rising costs of homes. But overall the property taxes here in Worcester County are low compared to other places.

I was down in OCMD for Memorial and also this passing Labor Day weekend been coming down for over 15 yrs staying at the same place, n like Memorial weekend, Labor Day weekend the motel had rooms available all weekend long. I talked to a bartender @ Fish Tales Memorial weekend about it not being full, ran into her again Labor Day weekend n she said Labor Day weekend wasn’t as full as it’s been in the past.. I think it’s the cost of everything. Ima single guy but, I can’t imagine what it would cost a family or 4 or more to vacation in OCMD..

Great video Jay and some good looking BBQ!!. I suggest you try a 24 hour Brine in Pickling salt water and Molasses someday for the Butt.
Brining works great! I did it with a thanksgiving turkey, spatchcocked it and smoked it. One of the best turkeys I've ever had.

Have you ever thought about adding BBQ to your reviews lineup. Plenty of BBQ joints in OC and might go well with your Pizza and Crab Cake videos
