I am very much aware that I am fighting a losing battle, but I believe that the words, "Leader" and "Leadership" should be eliminated from the Christian vocabulary; they are just another barrier, another wall, between laity and ordained, authors, and scholars. We are are servants.
I really enjoyed this video, especially the prepared notes by both John and Rowan. Paul seems to be very knowledgeable and even profound in his own right, but I found myself wishing he'd kept his comments a bit shorter so that we might have heard from John and Rowan a bit more in the brief time that was available.
I couldn't agree with you more! I just couldn't finish watching the rest of the video after 1hr 15 min mark, it got so annoying. The moderator with his long winded interjections really ruined it. Does he not know he has 2 really prominent scholars and guests that people want to listen to. It was painful to see John wanting to interject, this is a masterclass on how NOT to facilitate or moderate a panel.

The logos of john is it God himself or his son
Jesus in the boat on lake of Galilee During the storm and his body floating on the lake, very strange. Augustine over spiritulise in many cases.
The words leader and leadership should be eliminated from the Christian vocabulary; it is a needless barrier between priest/minister and laity at a loss for the clergy. We are ALL servants.
It's a mystery to me how Rowan can stomach the Neo Liberal - Wokey Doke Church.
