I love how the white lines really change the look!! 💞 The black lines almost give it a stained glass look. If you ever wanted to take the iridescent look a step further, Pamela from Pamela's Passion for Pencils uses Stickles, and they have an iridescent version. It is a fine glitter glue. It adds a lot of shimmer to it! 🌟🌟

I start my gel pens on a strip of masking tape I stick down on my glass desk top. The texture of the tape get the ink flowing, usually. I change the tape periodically.

@@snickerdoodlingllc No! You scrub the point on the unsticky surface. Masking tape has a bit of texture, and it seems to help gel pens get going, sometimes. Gel pens are my nemesis, but doing that can help get them going, IME. When I want to creat a border or frame, I use masking tape. I take my length of tape and stick it down on my jeans leg about 3 times. I stick it down, pull it up, stick it down, etc. Then I place it on my page. The tape picks tiny fibers up from the cloth, and this makes it less tacky, and less liable to tear the paper it is stuck to. But I still need to pull it up carefully. I ran into that tip on TH-cam ages ago. I simply pass it on.
