- If we apologize and ask for forgiveness when we do something wrong, it not only makes the other person feel better, it will also increase the joy and happiness in our life. Here's why:
When we do wrong to someone or get mad at someone, if we don't say we're sorry, we will hold on to that thought and constantly think about it in our head. Over time we forget about it, but when we're around that person, we feel a sense of uncomfortableness and tension with that person. This is bc when we see that person and we haven't talked and resolved the issue by simply saying "I'm sorry, forgive me for blah, blah blah" we still feel like there's a problem.
Sometimes this happens b/t family members and people end up not talking to each other for months and even many years before rekindling the relationship again.
When we apologize, both people feel better. Both people feel better bc both people are able to let go of the resentment that was in their heart. If we don't do this, our heart will slowly close over time until we can't feel pain anymore OR love. We simply become like heartless robots that only use our heads and not our hearts.
Action Step:
- Reach out to someone that you were mad at or did wrong and tell them your sorry. Taking this first step can start this healing process that we all need in order to feel the love inside of us that we desire the most.

I think this video is too long and redundant and Mike's English isn't perfect - but I was thinking the same thing.
