Learning to feather instruments is crucial to playing percussion. Thanks for sharing your ideas, E.P.!

Very well and sensitive to the music. I appreciate that. One thing I've been working with my kids is respect for the music. This is precisely that. Thank you brother

I love this kind of thing with a different sort of challenge in playing these instruments well. The chimes sounded particularly good. The ones I have are double rowed and pretty full on which is good if that's what's needed, but I think I need a mellower set now! Claves sounded great too - higher pitch than for son or rumba styles

I think is fair to say that if you follow the flow you become part of the environment. Bro you got to love it !!!

thanks heaps for the last 2 sessions on percussion in worship, yes have to agree you have to write your own parts, as I've found, no one has any idea what you can play. wish I'd seen these when I swapped from drums to percussion, as there really wasn't anything out there.(1995) I learnt the hard way by watching videos of percussion greats like Don Alias, Cyril Baptiste playing with Herbie Hancock, and Alex Acuna playing with everyone!! , then trying out at rehearsal before Sunday to see if it worked or not. One thing I've found over the years, it's ok not to play all the time, an effective tool sometimes before coming back in with a cymbal wash etc. cheers

    Saludos a todos!
    Gran video!

Think about the cymbals man, you need to know your drummer as well as the type of music if you want to ad some colors with the cymbals. In worship you could do so much with the right doze of flavor with small gong or cymbals. Making sure the both drum and percussion complement each other.
    Think about it
