Μου αρεσει που ο παρουσιαστης εκανε copy-paste αποσπασματα το αρθρο που ειχα γραψει για το Vmax και το ειχα δωσει στο το caferacer στην λεσχη Yamaha Vmax 1200&1700 Greece Hellas Vmax στο AutoMoto στο Car press και σε γνωστο περιοδικο μοτοσυκλετας και το παρουσιασε σαν δικη του δουλεια.....

I have a 1997 Gen1 in street fighter style. If I ever pick up one of these second generations, most of that swoopy bodywork will come off with the mirrors, bars and pipes.
I have both. Gen1 from 95 and Gen2 bought brand new in 2017 though carbon edition so manufactured in 2015.
Both fantastic bikes.
The Gen1 feels "tiny" and "fragile" when you switch from Gen2.
Just that none of these bikes is tiny or fragile.
Both my Vmaxes are original - both rock solid. Among the best bikes ever built for street.
Extremely Powerful but still relaxed to ride.
@@JenniferSmith-yl6lr Since my comment, I looked at 2015 VMAX in black with a wide tire kit and factory saddle bags. -Perfect condition. The seller only wanted $9,500! I took my truck and bike trailer for a three hour drive to Norco, CA with the cash in an envelope and bill of sale blank form. I was pretty excited the whole way down. Then I took it for a ride. I was pretty disappointed. Too heavy steering, standard acceleration, and it was either throttle off or throttle on. It didn't want to cruise at steady speeds. So, after comparing it to my 1st gen, I decided that it was not love at first ride and told the guy I was going to pass. He was shocked. (BTW, he and I are both forum members at Vmax.net) I ended up going home empty handed. I will test ride a Diavel in the future, but I just didn't care for the VMX 1700.
@@JenniferSmith-yl6lr I found a 2015 Vmax with a wide tire kit, factory hard bags, and some upgrades. All for $9500 including the stock parts. This was just before COVID-19 hit. Drove my truck and trailer three hours to pick it up with the cash in my pocket. I was excited until I took it for a test ride. Heavy front end, on or off acceleration/deceleration (it didn't like steady cruising) and kind of boring. I passed on the deal and drove home empty handed. Maybe I should have bought it to resell, but I was a bit depressed about the whole affair. I already have a Harley Fatboy plus my naked 1st Gen with V-Boost in the garage.

Υπαρχουν λαθακια μεσα στο βιντεο τα οποια εγω που δεν εχω ασχοληθει με το μηχανακι τα παρατηρησα, πχ το vmax ποτε του δεν ειχε ram-air, οι εισαγωγες διπλα στο τεποζιτο ειναι εκει για την εμφανιση και μονο δεν κανουν καποια δουλεια.

Its a heavy bike and the straights are the best for this bike! It can corner well but remember that is a very heavy bike!

Agree that it looks small. It works really well though. Yamaha does make a 240mm wheel and tire kit for it. Someone at big old Yamaha agreed as well.
