Passacaglia - Handel (Suite No. 7, G Minor, HWV 432)

Hello everyone! In this week's video, I perform Handel's Passacaglia in G Minor. For those who don't know, Passacaglia means "street song" in Spanish-derived Italian. They were popular in the 17th-century Baroque period of music and were used as interludes for larger works of dance music. This specific Passacaglia composed by Handel gained great popularity as a stand-alone piece, however.

I am loving your playing ❤.... Your choice is extremely good.. playing all good songs...plz plz play yanni's songs... Especially "whispers in the dark" not original but piano solo version from pure yanni album. It has that improvised part that original doesn't have.. i want to see those notes dropping from above 😊. Actually i also play piano but not as good as you. And i want to learn that part in that song which I don't play well... So plz make an attempt to play whispers in the dark. I know you will learn it in an hour or 2..🙏🏼👍🏼
