    Fyi if you're using the gennel g109 thermal glue like tswift recommends its takes about 6 hours for it to cure

    can you post video of hashrate, temps and power usage after adding these thermal pads?

      I will, will let it run for 10-15 hours to get a good comparison with other Ks0-pro on 280G before will start going to 340G.

    fyi, way easier to use the tube of glue and squeeze a dot on the mosfet, then put the little heat sink on top. i used the spreader that comes with the glue to allign the heatsink and squish it down a bit.

    • @DontMindMeMining

      Yes, that makes total sense. I was just kinda worry not to be careful enough and spread that glue on other small components besides the mosfets

      Not for ks0pro, 1.5 tube for KS3M but 1-8g tube I think will be good for about 9-10 ks0pros since it’s only 12 chips on ks0pro and 168 on KS3M

      there are a lot of variances but main one could be mosfets overheating in what you've described, try lower OC and see which one is stable

    • @DontMindMeMining

      It’s been instructed by tswift to replace thermal paste and add heatsinks to mosfets in order to get 340Gh OC. Not sure if thermal paste is critical part but it’s been reported that original is bad quality and dries out in a month with high temps when use OC.

    • @DontMindMeMining

      If you open your ks0-pro and didn’t damage your pads it should work just fine there no requirements for thermal pads but it’s recommended. I didn’t notice a difference so kept them intact.

    Hello,
    a quick question about the copper coolers. On the video they are clearly lower and smaller? than on the amazon link in the description. Which dimensions are correct?

    • @DontMindMeMining

      I tried both of them and they seem to work, I have, the smaller 6x6x5 that are used in the vid are out of stock now and I think the 6.5x6.5 also out of stock I've been waiting for delivery for a week now. any cooper heatsinks that are 6x6 or 6.5x6.5 at the base should work. remember to take photo with your mac address and heatsinks visible in the photo.

    • @DontMindMeMining

      they have those heatsinks in stock now, I've added to the description as well.

      I have now managed it too,
      new heatsinks are glued and also the new thermal paste.
      A quick question about the PSU, is the fact that it has 19.5v and the original only 19v not a problem for the board?
      Now I have to take care of the firmware itself... @@DontMindMeMining

    • @DontMindMeMining

      There is no description where exactly those temp sensors are but temp out is very close to the mosfets so when they got its get high temp reading and temp in probably somewhere at the end of the board closer to power side basically temperature of air entering the ks0pro. Hope that helps.

    • @DontMindMeMining

      That a pretty good question, that what I have with my iceriver box set up. It’s hard to say for summer if I will be able to run it this way or will have to drop it to 280G. I’m checking temps on the chips regularly and so far I’m happy with cooling. As gas the chip life it’s probably will shorten chip life by a lot but this machine maybe worthless in a year when Kaspa hashrate above 400PH never know though.

      7:20-12:00 in the video for heatsinks to install on mosfets only with glue do not use glue for chips only thermal paste and there is no space for chips to attached heatsinks as ks0pro body is the heatsinks for chips.

    • @DontMindMeMining

    This 340Gh working on 12 or 19V?

    • @DontMindMeMining

      I plan to start with 12V with amp reader to watch the amps at connector and temps. If it gets too hot will switch to 19V for another test and/or will solder silicone wire directly to board like I did in the other vid.
