@@Alaguan Yeah thats actually a really good idea. Some of those key combos i've never seen before either and could definitely make my producing easier haha!
Thanks for this man, it was really helpful. This style of hardcore is deffo my favourite, I really hope it makes a comeback because I know a lot of other people really like it too :D. Was wondering if you get the chance could you do U.K. hardcore Lead tutorial in this style ? And would it be better to use serum or sylenth1? I’m pretty new to production and sound design. Also how do you make that pump/whoosh kinda sound at 10:05?
I actually recorded two more tutorials so far and the next one is for a classic supersaw lead in sylenth1. I use different synths for leads, depending on what I'm going for, I'll do some tutorials on different synths as well :) oh and the sound at 10:05 is the kick sample, but reversed
Thanks mate! The next tutorial will be a lead one, sound design at least. Gotta see if I'll do a melody one as well in the future as I find that is hard to teach
Thanks mate! I'm not too sure on how to do a leveling tutorial, as I usually just do that by ear, but I'll upload a stream where I produced a full track soon, so hopefully that'll help :)
I absolutely love all your remixes just fantastic I can’t wait to get into the studios with my friends and help them turn their own tunes into these types if you don’t mind. I love all bouncy tunes. I’m from Liverpool uk wish you can do a gig here again soon
Thanks mate, means a lot! Yeah deffo go an put the stuff to use, that's why I do this :) Would deffo be up for liverpool gigs when my health is back to normal and the pandemic has fvcked off
Loving these tutorials man, it's definitely given me more of a spark to produce :) What samples/packs do you recommend for these clubland style drums, fx, percussion etc.?
Tbf most of the sounds that work best for it are from the VEC packs still. There are a few others that are really good for it tho, like the Sy & Unknown sample pack
You could do a remix of the classic track heart of gold. Maybe some classic Nintendo or sega games just some fun tracks bouncy with a bit of Scouse donk
I did actually make an edit of Heart Of Gold, it's just not released :P I'm not too keen on donk but I do have one project in the works in that direction that I'm gonna try and work on while streaming at some point. I'll make sure to upload it here afterwards
Danke dir! Der Sub ist an sich nur ein einzelner Sine Oscillator, kannst du prinzipiell mit jedem Synth machen. Ich nutze dafür nur 3xOsc, weil er wenig CPU leistung braucht
Can you do this with Sylenth1 as well or will Massive have a different effect? I’ve seen a producer make a Psytrance bass the same way but I’ve been after this for a while.
Yeah it works in most synths as long as you have multiple oscillators and a retrigger function. the retrigger button and phase knob are the sylenth equivalent of the restart via gate in massive
Hey do you do any additional processing on this type of bass sound? I can’t seem to get it to sound fat enough in my mix. I’ve used distortion/saturation and some stereo widening ect but can’t get it to sound right
For that type of bass sounds I usually don't use anything but the things I showed in the video. But u gotta make sure the kick and bass work together, so if ur kick is weak, the bass won't save u
@@Alaguan Darren styles feel the pressure, hixxy feel it in the air are ones that come to mind, obviously the style of baseline in parts of songs has improved since , but you’ll kind of get what I mean, Sure lock n load blow yer mind did it too
i came here because i love alaguan but instead im learning there is so much theory behind the music creation ;o
Really good stuff! Great tutorial. I didnt know about the track routing shortcut, I've always done those manually.
Thanks mate, I'm gonna try to sort out something to show the keystrokes on screen for the future

Great video, be great to see a uk hardcore lead making video from yourself.
Thanks mate, the lead tutorial is up next :)

Kennst du auch andere alternativen zum generieren des subs als des 3x Osc? Beispielsweise für non FL user? Am besten für Mac? Gutes tutorial

Love to know how to make the slow bouncy basslines that featured in a few hardcore tracks hixxy used a lot
Lemme know an example and I'll see what I can do :)

@ALAGUAN
What kick drum is that? What did you use? If it’s a sample which sample and what is the name?
it was basically a 185 kick. I think this version was from a Fracus & Darwin sample pack, but u can pretty much use any 185
@@Alaguan Thanks. Did you use it out the box without any processing? Or what should I do to it?
there was some eq, some r bass and some compression on it. I'll show the settings if I do another production stream at some point
@@Alaguan thanks please would love to see it
