I get that point, I'd have to disagree though, even though I am about to engage in what I disagree on. The reason I find conversations online, especially in places like LinkedIn so unappealing is the sense of people having certain restraints to what they want to say. I believe this stems from the fact that the digital footprint that you leave is more or less permanent which makes people weary. That, to me, makes the convo quite shallow at times, which isn't really the way I like going about stuff. That's why I feel like sociallizing on social media doesn't really do much. But as I understand it I am in the minority on this one. TH-cam to me has always felt like a bit of a more personal space for people, and the culture around youtube is more of self expression than image conservation as it is on LinkedIn if you get my point. Great video, I'll try and catch them when I can!
Fair points man, I mean you're literally the only new friend I met offline before online!😂 (I'll bring a gopro for our next 5k!) To add a little nuance to the LinkedIn world, employees are pretty restrained, but freelancers and founders are the opposite. So most relationships I make are with the latter group💪 Still exploring things on TH-cam, but it's a ton of fun so far and I'm gonna keep using both!
