@@antraxx543 most products in the market are just snake oil that won't work the way they claim. This product is suppose to get rid of the internal carbon buildup at the manifold air inlet, intake valve, piston, etc. Take note that this is old Vios and it's running on port injection. You don't really need this product for a port injection engine because it has much less carbon buildup. You need this on direct injection engine generally. Carbon build-up attributed to inferior fuel quality, short trip, incomplete air fuel mixture combustion (rich condition) to name a few. Take inlet off to clean also can but u need technical know how and very labour intensive. Some inlet seated at the back of the firewall and hard to access like myvi. You need to inject solvent and brush and make damn sure your solvent does not enter piston. Not so easy.

@@whykenneth Mostly true, i did use carbon cleaner and then drove my car hard for a while. I took off intake manifold and saw the carbo buildup sludgey and wet looking. So use carbon cleaner BEFORE as a preventative maintenance otherwise you will need a couple cans of carbon cleaner if you solely want to rely on that, my car is port injected as well.

How can we know the that product actually works when we never see the actual grim on the engine or valve ?
By doing this all the dirt will either go to engine oil or to the exhaust system . It's a bad idea.
Perhaps i recommended that this method will help most likely on newer cars with lesser carbon. 🤷‍♂️

exhaust, the vacum line connected to PCV valve for crankcase ventilation, which is eventually circulated inside crankcase, combust and emit tru exhaust. This is a good method to cleanup the head valve and PCV valve. Thats why we might feel so much improvement after doing this cleanup. Please correct me if Im wrong.
