A new piece for my mid-year assessment.
The sparrows are playing hide and seek among the tea flowers
This is a strange piece to play. There is no structure, just random segments of techniques that are meant to be strung together.
I've been trying it a few different ways to see what combination will actually make it sound like a 'normal' piece.
After a few trials I think this is one of more musical versions.
    - I found my metal key today so I could finally add in my favourite technique!
Note: need to have longer nails for this piece or the p.d.l.t. and nail glisses hurt!!

Really curious, 1:04 really caught me off guard (and the piece for sure does sound musical, enjoyable I'd say!)
You never know when something interesting is gonna come out from just experimenting with your instrument... Never a bad idea 😌

That's my favourite extended technique! - it's called a tuning key slide/glissando. I wish composers used it more often :)
