  • in our last video, we look at the working principle of Dc motors.the major part that made up these motors were looked at.
    and finally, we ended off looking at what happens when a current-carrying conductor is brought to a magnetic field.
    in the second part of this twin series, we will be looking at how the armature converts the force experience to torque,
    in the same vein we will also be looking at effect of emf on the armature. finally, we will be looking at how dc motors are classified base on their forms of excitation.

    When armature windings are connected to a DC supply.
    current-carrying armature conductors experience a force due to the magnetic field, the coil will begin to rotate as a result.
    again, because the coil is connected to different polarities.
