Always enjoy Queen commentaries by Brian and Roger! I must be bittersweet to look back and explain the way it was all those years ago. And also seeing themselves a younger version as if it was just yesterday! Thank you, Hap a very enjoyable and insightful reaction! 💕💕🎵👑
At Roger's advice I turned it up REAL LOUD.😄 I was so glad to have the Whistle Mystery solved (I always wondered "Where'd that come from?!?") And what they mentioned about looking at each other for their cues is one of my favorite things about watching them perform... They were so "intimately" connected.💕
John had a bar set up behind the speaker next to Freddy’s piano (a full bar per Peter Hince -aka: Ratty) where he would escape to when he had any breaks. He liked to throw peanuts from there at Brian while he did his solos 😂. I guess sometimes he’d be pretty well lit by the end of the concerts. Roger has commented on that a couple of times. They always managed to stay professional though.
Yeah I noticed that Roger also says 'core blimey' a lot :) I think someone says in an interview that many girls liked Roger, and he replied 'core blimey where are their numbers?' :)
I googled the expression & found this interesting bit: "'Cor blimey' is a euphemism (specifically a minced oath) derived from 'God blind me'. Blimey is first recorded in print in Barrère and Leland's A dictionary of slang, jargon and cant, 1889."
Freddie was chatting away in an interview about the lights and looked very dissapointed the interviewer didn't seem to share his enthusiasm! Brian seemed to enjoy this one more allowed to play heavy guitar and even made a new toy for the sound effects!
Don't hate me for saying this (but thank you for putting this one up as I impatiently awaited :) ) Found a cool commentary video where Brian and Roger react to their top videos. To say the least there were a few they were not fans of. Some good background stuff too.
Another fantastic reaction with commentary from Brian and Roger, I absolutely love them! Love your reaction as well my dear friend! Love ❤️ from across the Pomo.
Ah the late 70’s and early 80’s light shows. If I’m remembering rightly Queen, ELO, Genesis, Kiss, McCartney, Plant, Floyd, Rush. It was innovative for the time. Became a key part of arena rock shows. Computer controlled lighting rigs, and multiple big screens, and fire, and rain, and “flying” sets, and all sorts of innovations since. But which band had the best light show was a topic of debate at the time.
LOVE THIS SONG!! I might be in the minority here but I love how Freddie sings this like he means it (which we now know he absolutely does). Brian’s Red Special making all those love noises!! ☺️ Roger’s referee whistle 🤣🤣 John is grooving to the song (so cute). Thanks HAP fantastic reaction!! 🎉🎉
I think Freddie and David may have been having problems! I get hot you wanna cool down.. The next year he met joe and split up with David And wrote DSMN !
Loved hearing Dr Brian & Rogers commentary. Even though this song is not among my favorites, the commentary and your reaction made it more interesting. Thanks Hap 😊
That section with the lights and smoke - if they had recorded the music special effects and pressed a button to let it run, they could all have gone behind the scenes to have a cup of tea.... But of course they would never do this in a live show!
Oh, yes, "Save me" next! Lookin forward to see you listen to the commentary for that song! Although I prefer just listening to Freddie's perfection of performance!
Hap, you are sassy today!! 😋 Lovin' it❣ Still wanting to hear a reaction to the cheeky "Back Chat" from Hot Space. All in due time 😊. I live hearing the perspectives of how and why the songs ended up as they were. It's fascinating to hear about the process(es). Geniuses 🧠 at work. 🔥🎼🌠💥 Peace J ✌ ☮
Love watching Deaky groove out
Love these commentaries by Brian and Roger to give insight into the Genius that was Queen. Brian oh so casually saying that they invented something.
Love of my life is beautiful
I love the Montreal commentaries. Hap, thanks so much for doing them! Those brilliant guys put everything into their work. I admire them so much!
This was fun! I'm loving the commentary reactions!
When all that smoke was floating around, John was at his minibar having a drink.
The comments on the lighting were really interesting. Enjoyed the reaction, Hap.
Liked the documentary. Very informative! Loved your reaction!❤️❤️
"This is the psychedelic one" 😂😂😂 Roger nailed it
So good the energy 💛💛💛

I think he’s talking about the harmonizer & the foot pedal 🤷♂️
This one has such a bad ass beat.

Great Reaction, not much to say, just missed your reactions to the Montreal Commentary.

Except when they played Bohemian Rhapsody live, where they actually do leave the stage.
@@karolyn8644 only because the opera section is impossible to perform live with only 3 voices
Loved seeing this commentary with you. I like this song. ☺ Great reaction as always!
