The biggest mistake I made!! I purchased the mini crib (bassinet) because it said 0-6 months. Two months later my son was outgrowing it. I went ahead and ordered the crib extension for a ridiculous amount of money only to find out that I also needed to purchase the mattress for another $200. In addition, the accessories are very expensive such as the canopy fabric that cost me $100. I should have gone with the Ikea brand🥴🥴 I agree, I could’ve allocated the extra cash to my son’s college account.

To anyone who reads this comment in the future, the new Stokke crib uses the same mattress as to resolve the issue addressed here.
