Ah yes, the wonderful queen of reapers, Grell Sutcliff, getting the love and attention she deserves. Truly an icon.
I went to Ireland last year, and my voice sounded like that for weeks. I sounded like the love child of Jason Voorhees and Shirley Manson with an Irish accent. One of the joys of having speech and language on both sides of my brain!

Grell is basically "The Joker" to Sebastian's "Batman". Loud, colorful, flamboyant, completely insane, ax crazy, has a creepy crush on a brooding dark protagonist, and gets a sick thrill from death matches with their rival.

@@sternritter_d Exactly! Thank you! You're absolutely right, it just sounds and feels extremely wrong to say he/him when talking about Grell especially after knowing that she wants to be a woman. Also, not only does she literally call herself a woman, one of the people that helped with Black Butler confirmed that Grell is a transgender woman. Despite that, people like Sebastian and Ciel still often say he/him which is odd to me, and it's even stranger how Grell doesn't correct them when they use the wrong pronouns, I think it was because during the time that the anime was set in, changing gender wasn't a thing, I don't really know to be honest.

Funny story. I went to Ireland last year, and my voice sounded like that. Long story short, I have a habit of picking up accents when I travel to new places, and I picked up the Irish accent in two days; I never fight it. So I sounded like the love child of Shirley Manson and Jason Voorhees for weeks on end when I was in Ireland and for some time when I returned home. That's the fun part of having speech and language on both sides of your brain!
Grell is so easy to copy as I have a similar personality to hers so I looked like an idiot just now copying line by line what she was saying
