I had a 1985 Kawasaki LTD in when I was in the Army in 1987. I loved that bike. It was my very first bike. I wish I wouldn’t have got rid of it. It was a fun bike.
I had one of these in the early 80's except mine was red which I find is somewhat rarer. Loved it, best bike I ever owned. I remember racing around with my buddies 750 Kawasaki and it could almost keep up. I sold it in 1983 and regretted it ever since. It specs top speed of 115 I think but I know for a fact I had mine up to 125 mph once on a downhill. Wouldn't recommend though.
Normally i would be saying something about the lack of safety gear while riding. But this guy looks like wolverine! I would be scared for the road if he layed down.
Cool bike dude. The rebbing and what not kinda sounds like that first 902 Kawasaki toy I had. The 1 where I got that line "Kawasaki, let the good times role!" I found that bike a bit curious as I may have meantioned. Cause it was kinda shaped like a Harly. What's this 1 shaped like? I guess Kawasaki made your usual Ninja shaped bikes at some point cause I later on got another toy and it looked your usual ninja.
I rode mine from England to Rhodes Greece. If someone wants to make me an offer and ship it to the states. It was shipped from Japan to England in about, 1989.

My first bike rode it for years never a problem ex wore out throttle cable now I own a bigger 1998 kawaski vogager 1200

I had an EX 550 LTD... don't know what year but it looked and sounds like this... different wheels only... almost same color and stripe and seats.
