Story 1 made me so mad. I'm a substitute and if a student asks to go to the nurse, I always let them go. The only time I say no is if the teacher specifically puts in their plans to not do so unless there's an emergency. I don't know the students' medical needs. For all I know, the kid asking to go to the nurse is diabetic or on a strict schedule. That made me so furious. Subs are already seen as the bad guy upon entering the classroom, we don't need our reputations further squashed by these power-hungry jerks.

I had something similar, but nowhere near as bad. It wasn't a teacher, but a sort of... student assistant because I wasn't doing well in school. Anyway, I have asthma and I could feel it starting to come on, but it wasn't bad, just getting slightly harder to breath, so I asked to go to the nurse to get my inhaler. She refused to let me go, saying she was a nurse and knew I didn't need to go (she was aware I had asthma). After a while, I asked to use the restroom, which she let me do, and on my way back, went to the nurse to take my inhaler. When I got back, she got on my case for being late, which I told her that I went to the nurse and she still claimed I was lying.
I'm not upset about it, but more annoyed.

One of the good teachers in my high school ended up in the hospital for two months because three students gang-r'ed her in the classroom for five hours. The head principal did nothing about it. The same POS that did zero about bullying being rampant, the drug and gun deals almost taking place in plain sight, the gangs fighting almost once a week.
Note: this is the cleanest version of this story that I could come up with without it getting me banned.

I was a senior in high school when the columbine shooting happened and I got physically dragged out of school by the local police because someone started a rumor that I was going to blow up the school. This was entirely fueled because I had a mild rep as a pyro because people knew I could make homemade fireworks. None of which ever made it to school. My family had to threaten the school district with a lawsuit because they wanted to expel me even after the rumor was proven false.

The fourth story made me remember something that happened at my school. Basically one kid managed to hack the emails sent by our school district and made it so that ANYONE could send these mass emails. Now normally, you could only send emails between schoolmates, but because of the hacker, we were able to suddenly send messages to every other school in the district. Your school email would be flooded with hundreds of people on a chain of emails saying random crap. You couldn’t block it because it was the school. This went on for like, a week before they figured out how to fix it! It was pretty funny at the time, though the emails got up to the thousands pretty quick

OH SHIT I REMEMBER AN INCIDENT
In 8th grade, we were supposed to be doing a fire practice, so we had to evacuate the school, wait outside in the parking lot and everything.
To make it more realistic the teachers put a smoke machine in the library, so it would look like the place was actually on fire, but then, something about the machine being reeeeally old, made it catch on fire and the library actually started burning. It took a good 20 minutes for someone to call the fire fighters because we were all under the impression that it was part of the simulation.
A half an hour rutine practice turned into a real emergency that took more than 2 hours to solve because the thing started in the most flamable place possible

    • @Neptune_Demon
      @Neptune_Demon ปีที่แล้ว +1

Man I wish that happened at my school, instead our Fire alarm broke and would randomly go off from time to time. One of these times the Fire Fighters were called. Oh and another time, we had to stay at school for another hour because someone had robbed a bank, was armed, and crashed there car somewhat nearby our school. Kids were crying everywhere. We had to sit silently in the corner of our class room for an extra hour after school having no idea what was going on. A more recent event similar to this happened, but some criminals escaped from a prison that wasn't even near out school so that had to lock it down. Other than that, the usual bomb threats at our HighSchool. Oh and some kid made a TikTok account "exsposing" students at our school. All the things they "exsposed" were fake, and rumers that weren't actually true. So y'know, the usual school experience. I live in Canada by the way. :/

It wasn’t an actual fire, but our school did get evacuated for a day by the fire department. A teacher was doing the experiment with the pure sodium and water. Apparently they used to much panicked and threw the rest in the sink so they had to make sure everything was clear the pipes so didn’t explode next time someone turned the faucet on.

My chemistry teacher got his access to chemicals restricted after doing a similar presentation. He made large soap bubbles filled with hydrogen, but the last was filled with hydrogen and oxygen. He was explaining oxidation.
He then had students hold these bubbles while he lit them with a grill lighter.
The hydrogen bubbles just went Fwoosh, burned up instantly, and disappeared. But the HydrOxy bubble went proper *BANG*
You could feel it in your chest.
Apparently it startled other teachers in the next classrooms because he didn't warn anyone the day of this demonstration. He lost the keys to the chemical safe after that.
After that he had to get approval from the principal each time he wanted to do any lab/demo with anything in the safe.

For me, the "incident" was something that went exactly how the faculty at my high school did every year, and everyone who experienced an Every Fifteen Minutes event knows it as well. What happened was that every year, one of the seniors would be taken every 22 minutes (average interval between DUI fatalities) and dressed in a grim reaper robe, painted with white clown makeup from the collar hone up, instructed to not talk to any classmates outside of classes to simulate them wandering aimlessly as a ghost, and put up in a hotel for the night to make it seem like they were removed from their friends and family by their death. There was also a destroyed car from an alcohol-related crash where a girl from our local community actually died in that exact car (remains removed and buried, obviously) for the week preceding. The day after all the deaths, the staff then put on a stage play cast from within the graduating class that was going through this (the rest of that class' student body was the exclusive audience) with a story of a girl get drunk at a party and tries to drive home afterwards, but gets arrested for vehicular homicide because the other driver died at the scene. The play then closed with the drunk driver being carted away to serve her sentence. I'm pretty sure at least my high school did this every year since I remember seniors from years before mine talking about it, and it I think it and other programs like it were working because the purpose was to discourage drunk driving, and by the time I experienced it first hand, the average intervul for those deaths had fallen from every 15 minutes (the inspiration for the program's name) down to every 22. They also had the school's security, including the one resource officer (actual city cop with orders to exclusively foot patrol out school's campus) participating as they were the ones notifying the students when their name had been drawn as that cycle's simulated death before pulling them from class and leading them to the office where the costume I described would be applied and the newly "dead" student would be instructed to go to class like normal with the exception of not socializing with friends in the halls.

The 2nd to last story about the Black vs Mexican students: I wanted to make a comment about this happening in my freshman yr of hs and, this story sounds nearly exactly like the one from my school. I didn’t hear about it until, that night after class and that’s because, one of my brothers came home speaking about it. Said, it began as a smaller fight among a few students but then, the Hispanic students sort of pulled in a well known/well liked Black student and tried to jump him. He held his own for a moment but, Black students who didn’t even know one another and, happened to be passing by, went into a collective rage. As more and more Hispanic and Black students joined in, the Black students overpowered them and, sent a good amount to the hospital/vice versa. My brother was one of the ones who, went into such rage and, when our older brother who was a Sr saw him join in, he stepped in. When the cops showed up, my elder brother practically dragged the younger (sophomore) away so, they wouldn’t get caught. The next day, there was an announcement made and, we spent the day learning safety and unity things. The “war” never happened again.

    My story:
In my school, students in 9th - 11th grade are taken to a city-wide tour as a field trip. So in 2014 it was the annual trip. 2 students fell into a river and the principal desperately jumped into the river to save them. He failed - He didn't know how to swim. 1 student was safe. The other student and the principal died. The campus in which the principal was in was named after him. I hope they find peace.

I have two. The first one was around my sophomore year, it was around 3rd period around 10-11 when we dismissed to go to our next class until we were getting yelled at to get back to our original class until further notice. Turns out that a student tried to off himself by cutting his hand off with a power saw in the shop class and running around the campus. If I remember right they managed to get the hand back on and he was in some mental treatment for a while. I believe last time I heard he was doing better.
Second story for context I was in the high school band and we had a color guard instructor who was openly gay. Found out two years of me graduating that he was caught texting with minors males and making plans to hook up with them in another city and the messed up part is that he was also an emt for some time. He was also the instructor for my sister, who was in the guard and countless other students for years. Glad he got caught

A helium balloon floated into the powerlines at my older brother's graduation. It exploded into a big fireball right before the stadium lights completely went out. One person pulled out their phone flashlight and several people followed suit. Less than 30 seconds later, and the entire football field was completely lit up by phone flashlights. Overall one of the coolest things I ever saw.

my high school had a gun in the pool locker rooms. the cover up was that was a "gun cleaning kit" or a "cap gun" (i cant remember which one). a history teacher confirmed it to be a real gun the year i graduated. to my knowledge, he's still there and he was a chill person.

Probably a starter pistol. Basically a blank gun. Often used to start swimming/running competitions, especially common in prior decades.
However, most purpose built "starter pistols" are built by actual firearms companies just made of cheaper/softer metal. Sometimes they have an obstruction in the barrel. The cheap potmetal can't withstand the pressure of firing live rounds but blanks have no recoil/pressure because there's no bullet.
Sometimes the cylinder is also shorter in starter pistols so they can't chamber a longer live round (blanks are just a casing & powder, w/ no bullet, so they're shorter too).
Blank firing guns & "starter pistols" can be VERY difficult to differentiate between real guns, they look and feel the same, operate the same, etc...
That's probably why is got confused for a cap gun.
Though technically you can also put blanks in a real gun, so it could've possibly been a cheap actual revolver.

What happened to me was with a substitute in second grade. My mom always picked me up after school. Everyone knew this. My normal teacher wrote down all of our names in columns titled bus and pick up. We had so many pick ups that normal teacher had to cross out bus on a second page. Sun didn't care and put me on a bus despite my classmates and I telling her my mom would be coming.
I was on the verge of tears when one of the PE coaches came and got me off the bus. Coach told my mom and she was angry. I never saw the sub again. This was the beginning of my generalized anxiety.

A few kids thought it would be funny as their senior prank to put fart bombs in the air ventilation to try and get the school to close for the day. The school made us stay and work through the horrible smell. This was on a Monday, and the smell lingered for a few days even with every door and window open. Teachers even bought fans to try and keep the smell out of their classroom.

In my country students can stay on for a year in highschool and essentially get another round of qualifications or resit something they failed... But if you finished in the top percentage and want to do your first year of university in school, thats also an option.
This usually results in a reduced class load. So they ask you to be a student tutor. Essentially, your teaching the 11/12 year olds.
So student tutor takes over a full class teaching all lessons and half way through the year a student teacher joins the class. As hes been teaching the class she naturally deffers to him in lessons (he was 18, she was 21/22 and on placement from university)
They hooked up a couple of time and she made a comment in the teachers lounge, asking why he was never there..
It was caught and swept under the rug

The "incident" at my school was 4 members of our school's board of governor's (Private School) being arrested for the murder of a number of civil rights workers during the 1960's.
There had long been rumors that the school, yes an all-caucasian private school (more common than you'd expect) was sponsored by the KKK. Well that just verified the rumors. The men who were arrested had been tried once in the 60's, but it was a mistrial with a hung jury. Between then and the 1990's (when the arrests happened), the various District Attorneys would refuse to bring the case to trial. Eventually, it took the Federal Government under President Clinton to step in and retry the case.
As to why I went there, no, my parents were not racist. I had always attended private schools (mostly Catholic private schools), and when we moved to that state, the public schools weren't up to the same educational standard. So my parents picked that school simply because it was the closest one to where we lived, and was on par with what I'd been studying in our previous state.

I have one that's pretty impressive and odd, it was intense at the time but rather amusing in retrospect. Dubbed "The Rifle Primer Incident"
So my best bud in high-school was a guy called Mike. He and I had discovered, at home over the weekend, that if you taped a rifle primer to an arrow, they will explode with a loud bang when hitting any hard surface like a brick wall. Now, I should probably explain what a rifle primer actually is. Put basically, it's the TINY little piece in the center rear part of a bullet/cartridge that ignites the actual gunpowder when the firing pin hits it. They are that little silver circle on the back of the casing that you often see in many video games. They're basically the same as percussion caps. They aren't particularly powerful by themselves but ARE shock sensitive, they were weak enough that they didn't even damage the soft target arrows we were taping them onto or the trees and brick wall we were repeatedly shooting them at. They just made a loud bang and a bright flash. We were using #9 and 1/2 size primers, which are meant for large caliber bullets with big casings and a lot of powder. They were about as loud as an M80 or maybe a .22 rifle. I even showed my mother, and she thought it was sort of cool, typical boy stuff in the south.
Well, these only come in small packs of like 50-100. They're often used by hunter's who load their own ammo or reload spent casings. We found our first few in the possessions of my late grandfather, but we quickly ran out. Well, my mother had no real issue with this whole exploding arrow thing and was perfectly willing to take me to the local hunting store to get another pack. The "incident" started because I took these to Mike's house in the morning before school and figured we'd just leave them there. Instead, Mike asked me to just hold onto them because his mother was sometimes overprotective and easily frightened. Without thinking it was a big deal, I just slipped the little box, brightly labeled "Remington", back into my backpack.
Well, halfway through lunch, another student decided to randomly go through my bag while I wasn't looking. She then finds this box, pulls it out, and loudly proclaims, "Are these BULLETS?"
Cue, the current teacher freaking out. Well, I eventually get taken to the principal's office and then to the school founder's office (since it's a charter school). They searched my belongings and I spend about an hour smoothing things over, explaining that these primers aren't any sort of weapon, and basically convincing everyone that Mike and I aren't psychos or mass shooter types, etc...
During my pleading and discussions, while trying to avoid any mentions about "exploding arrows" or anything like that, I still wound up mentioning Mike's name. I had talked the administrators down from potential expulsion to a basic suspension, so that was progress in my mind. Well, they then brought Mike in a bit later. He starts off by stashing his cigarettes and lighter between the desk and the wall in the founder's office, while the adults are talking in the hallway, and it just went downhill from there. By now, the principal, first teacher, and founder are calming down a bit, but they figured they still needed to search Mike's belongings as well. It starts off fine, but after all the textbooks and binders, they then pull out something wrapped in brown paper, and I start getting a bad feeling. They unwrap it, and it turns out to be a full face soviet gas-mask, filter and all. Very creepy looking and potentially intimidating in this circumstance.
I had only just finally gotten them to stop thinking we were the next Columbine duo less than 30 minutes before, and this absolutely wrecked that. They start freaking out again about firearms paraphernalia/parts, military equipment, bombs, weapons, and whatever else they can think of. Full on pearl clutching and mass shooting fears engaged, everyone is freaking out.
Apparently, Mike had brought it in because he was using it for part of a project in art class. Thankfully, the art teacher verified this. By now, school is supposed to be letting out, and our parents are now in the office along with the resource officer. Mike's mom is mad at me, my parents are playing damage control, the founder and principal are talking about expulsion again, it was a pretty big scene.
Thankfully, the resource officer came to our defense and said the primers should be considered firecrackers/fireworks at worst. She specifically said that they were less concerning or dangerous than a pocket knife would be.
So, in the end, we each got a 10 day suspension, the primers were seized as contraband, and we got labeled by the rest of our classmates as the crazy/dangerous kids. Which honestly DID reduce bullying quite a bit, it was definitely an upgrade from our previous labels of being the dorky/nerdy kids. We were each able to easily fix this "possibly violent" perception with most of the friendlier classmates by continuing to be the smart, kind, helpful, and caring people we both actually are.
This happened 14 years ago, but Mike and I are STILL close friends. I shared a duplex with his family for years after high-school (he and I took side A, and his parents took side B as a vacation home). Oddly enough, he even dated my aunt for a few years, too, again after high school (it should be noted that my aunt is close to our age). "The Rifle Primer" incident was sort of an early bonding experience for us, and we still sometimes reference it.

The incident at my school started was at middle school. There was a biology teacher who got very and i do mean very sick. She was hospitalized and we wouldnt hear of her for 2 years. Then we had a biology class later in 7th grade (she was hospitalized when i was 5th grade which is elementary school for us) and our biology teacher (a new one obv) said that the teacher died and for a week the school was really quiet. What im sad about is that there was no ceremony to honour her.

9:59 had a catfight like this happened in high school. I was sitting 5 feet away when the girls fell onto the ground and start ripping weaves. I was definitely traumatized
Also, I was hoping for my story would be here so I'll repeat it for next time.
This was around my 3rd or 4th year of college within the first month. I was walking into class one afternoon for my major when I noticed my classmates chatting about something. It turns out one of the freshmen smuggled his gun to school. Now I don't have to emphasize how bad that is in general but I should mention it should of been impossible to happen to begin with. My college has some top notch security with checkpoints at every entrance of the main campus. It also says so on the website that weapons aren't allowed on campus (it's the main reason why I couldn't bring my Archery Equipment to school to continue working on my skills). So why did this kid bring his gun to school? Turns out he feels "Naked" without it and he doesn't feel comfortable leaving it behind. The gun was discovered by his roommate in his safe which he left unlocked and open one day, as well as leaving a list of names which is already concerning. He was arrested and brought home to be convicted but our school president was willing to forgive the incident as he's a very forgiving and nice guy who believes everyone deserves an opportunity for higher education.

I had a sub that did only remembered my name. I was annoying because whenever the class got even slightly loud instead of saying "Everyone calm down" he would loudly shout my name and tell me to be quiet. Everyone would stop for a little bit, but then get right back to being loud. He kept calling only my name and by the second time I already stopped talking and was quietly sitting there. I hated that sub at the end. The bad part was he was a sub a couple of times and every time he only remembered my name and did the same 'only using my name to talk to the whole class'. Did not help the bullying I already had. Some subs are horrible.

oh god what didn't happen at my high school
    1) witnessed a classmate/friend pull a knife on another student
    2) we got banned from the local target and the mariano's because students kept shoplifting
    3) It was a new 6-12 charter school, I was part of the first graduating class, and the school's founders stole money from the high school, dipped, and framed their successor
    4) someone in my class punched a hole in one of the Macintosh computers in the computer lab. He was cool, I hope he's thriving today
    5) Fights, every single day. In the hallway, in the classroom, in the cafeteria it doesn't matter where. One teacher got hit in the head trying to split up a fight. I got in school suspension for slapping someone
    6) We lost a student in the middle of the school year to gun violence, a student who was in my class had also been shot in a separate incident and I think paralyzed from the neck down, and another student in my class was murdered in a drive-by long after we graduated. Rest in Peace Tim-Tim and Twon, I didn't get to know them well but they deserved so much better
    7) teachers and faculty just kept coming and going because the school was absolutely falling apart. We'd gone through upwards of like 40 staff members in one school year. No one stayed long because of shite pay and shite treatment from
    8) the company that owned my school threatened to close us down because we weren't giving them good enough academic numbers i guess, because test scores matter more than the kids who attend, obviously. There was a meeting involving the students, their parents, and the school company's board that carried on until super late on a wednesday night. We managed to get the school to stay open so the rest of us could graduate - and then a few years later the school finally shut down because there weren't enough enrollments lol
Worst school I had ever attended, greatest community of friends to come out of it (at least on my part, with a few exceptions I tried to be friendly with everyone)

My school has had an email sent out about a fire too. I was in chemistry during this time and was beginning to have difficulty breathing from the smoke.
Turns out it was actually one of my friends conducting a smoke research test since he was an eco science enthusiast. That makes 2/4 people in our group having emails sent out.
The second incident includes an accidental gun threat that a student made during the final period on a Friday. They airdropped a meme to some people and it came off as a threat with the caption, “I’ve got a gun”. This was me, I don’t even own firearms and chose the wrong picture :/

It was never found out but it was me. This was in high school. I smoked pot inside the building on multiple occasions. Only other students knew. I usually sat outside during lunch so i could do that then too. Honestly, that one time in the main staircase? I dont know hiw nobody smelled it after class cause i smoked a full joint (i asked to use the restroom during 3rd period - we only had 4 periods at my school).. Another was that there were like 10 kids doing cocaine in the downstairs restroom. They got caught. Not me though.

I had two “incidents” happen in my senior year.
First, I was in a theater class and acted in the school play. A friend of mine (let’s call him J) was also in the class, he was part of the stage crew. One day he brings his camcorder to school, he was really big into film making. When the teacher stepped out for a few minutes, J pulls out the camcorder and says he has something to show us. He pressed play and we started watching what ended up being a homemade p**n film! Starring people from our school. Nine minutes later the film ended, the teacher came back and I was scarred for life. Later that day, another teacher caught J with the film and he was sent to alternative school. For the next few months I had to endure the harassment of a small group of students who were convinced that I had ratted him out, I didn’t. Thankfully when he came back at the beginning of March, J set them straight and we were still friends.
The second one occurred to me directly. I used to make lists of various things to help me remember them. Plants, birds, book titles you name it. But then one I get called to the principals office and the resource officer has to search my bag because, two girls whose names I still don’t know, reported me for having a “Hit List”. Of course, the principal who had known me since I was in kindergarten, didn’t believe it but had to check for security reasons. Well, the list in question was not found (a good thing because it didn’t even exist). And all that happened to me was that I missed that day’s pep rally. Now, they did have to search my car as well, but it was more of the same. The only real problem was that my started getting on to me again for making lists. To me it was the best way to remember things. To her it was the quickest way to cause one of these incidents, and was completely unnecessary. We didn’t know it then, but I was on the autism spectrum and no matter what my mother thought, it absolutely WAS necessary to me.

I got one, the only fight at the High School. Our high school was tame. We didn't see much fights, because we knew to take outside. Now this was the only fight it was rare. So rare we weren't expecting. From what I gathered, two girls who were inner city kids started fighting over one guy. I was getting out of world history class and I hear a whole lot of people fighting in the lobby. It started with the two girls fighting. The other inner city kids got involved. It got really out of hand, the police were called. One of the girls had a corn row ripped out by the skin.
The Second Incident the only lockdown. The school was having a normal day, expect two kids were going through a nasty divorce. There dad was a gun-nut and was bragging on 4Chan about taking his kids to Russia. While he had a restraining order against him. Apparently the FBI was running a sting operation on the sight. Found where he was and informed the local police. The father violated the restraining order and fucked his life up in the process. No one was hurt, but he had several illegal guns in the trunk in the car. He lost his job at a Federal Research Lab and was taken to jail for violating the restraining order. We were locked in our classroom for an hour in a half. I was trying to keep a German Exchange Student/friend calm by showing her my travel guide. Yes I wanted to travel the world. Thankfully no one was hurt and our local police was already there.

Some people might remember the incident that made national news around 2015 of a girl who got bullied so badly that the bully put super glue in her hair that melted her hair into her scalp….yea that was my school. Weirdly enough when it made the news we were all confused since our school never had bullies or a bullying problem, like we were the type of school that if someone didn’t like another person they just physically fought it out and settled it there or the person doing the harm was seen as the asshole and everyone hated them versus the other way around. If anything I would’ve definitely been bullied since I was at the bottom of the food chain hanging with the furry kids but thankfully neither I nor anyone I knew was. I heard through the grapevine that she had made it up for attention but she was gone for the rest of the school year and may have come back for a while but my memory is foggy.

My Senior Year in High School (2012 - 2013) we had a sudden and unexpected death midway through the year. A girl in our graduating class got a blood clot and suddenly passed away . . . She was part of our local Mormon community, and I had a lot of Mormon friends, so even though I didn't personally know her, I was still 1 degree of separation from her and ended up hearing a lot of the details . . . She was 17 and on the Track & Field team, so she was in decent physical condition which is what makes stuff like that so scary . . . The fact that anyone at any time could just suddenly, with no warning, get a blood clot and die . . . I've actually known two other people personally (late 20s and late 40s) to die the same way. It really puts things into perspective . . .

I have two incidents from when I was in high school. The first one happen my junior year back in 09. Monday after the senior class graduated, word got around that there was a llama in the shop teacher’s classroom. Some of us went to go see if it was true, and sure enough there’s the llama standing confused in the classroom. We quickly figured out who the owner was of said llama. The principal and other administrators were really p--d. They wanted to press charges of breaking and entering on the graduated senior, but there was no evidence of forceful entry. We all figured he just slipped away, he was a short dude, and propped the back door shop door open enough to open from the outside. Came back next morning before anyone was at school, and snuck the llama in and left. The school couldn’t punish him since he graduated, and administrators really overreacted. The only thing they could do was bar him from going on the senior FFA trip to Wyoming. Some of the student body protested the punishment, and made T-shirts. The principal was not having it and ordered anyone with a llama T-shirt, about 30 students, to go to the auditorium. Gave them a lecture and detention, and for some reason told them about a senior prank a classmate of his did. The classmate of the principal loaded up a cattle trailer full of squirrels and released them into the school. My Ag teacher told us about a senior prank a student he never suspected pull during the graduation ceremony back in the mid to late 90’s. Which turned out to be a core memory of mine, because I was there as a kid. The student in question somehow caught a bunch of birds, smuggle them in under his graduation gown, released them in the gym of the old high school during the ceremony.
Now onto the second incident. This happened during the spring semester of my senior year. A couple of juniors were hanging out in the choir room. I think one of them was practicing for a solo or something. This was well after the final bell, so the school was empty for the most part. One member of the group slipped away without anyone noticing him. He went to the empty front office, grabbed the phone, and dialed in the code for the intercom. And proceeded to say, “the school will blow up in 5,4,3,2,1, (explosion sound affects),” and hung up. 5 seconds later, he goes back on and says, “just kidding.” Turns out the coded he dialed broadcasted his stupid stunt not only in the high school, also in the middle and elementary school, all three were in one building. Turns out, there was a small number of people in the school still. One group was a couple of female classmates from my class attending to a after school program for pre-k kids. They said those kids lost their minds. My Ag teacher was at his desk in his room, and he said he about jumped out of his chair. The dip crap got about a week of in school suspension. The shop teacher, who was also this kid’s cross country coach, got ticked about how harsh the punishment was. And says that if a football player did it, they would have gotten a slap on the wrist. That statement tick some of us off, because a lot of us weren’t dumb enough to do a stunt like that. Secondly, how did he know what code to dial to be able to do it.
Sorry for the long story, hopefully you enjoyed it.

Teachers in France are paid pennies, often don't get to pick where they teach (defo don't when they start), and are treated like shit by the institutions. Plus, you can't even quit your job if the academy doesn't approve of it. There's one teacher who does a webcomic and has a pretty big follower base on socials, who's been trying to leave for about 2 years now, even has a written, signed offer from a private employer. He's been denied the right to leave after months and months of administrative silence. His only option now is to just stop coming to work and wait for them to fire him for abandoning his position, but that could still take months (again), and in the meantime, not only would he not get paid, but he's also forbidden to sign any contract elsewhere while he's still being employed by the National Education.
The situation is so bad that lots of experimented teachers want to quit, so the government has resorted to basically hire random untrained people with just a minimum year of studies in any field, by hosting litteral job datings. The people doing those can then be thrown into the education system within down to a couple weeks, with similar benefits and less drawbacks than teachers who went through years of dedicated studies and competitive exams. Somehow we still didn't see a teacher have a massive breakdown and hurt kids.
Not to excuse the scam that teacher pulled out (especially since that teacher was probably teaching in a place they had the luxury to chose as they worked there for so long), but yeah, unless you're hired by a private school, chances you're hating your life are pretty high.

Not really the type of incident i think you are looking for but back in 1983 a tornado almost destroyed our school. I live in a small town on the praries in Canada. We had a massive storm come through and a very large tornado. In the town there were only a few downed trees but our school gym was shifted off its foundation. Other small farms wernt so lucky. Houses were ripped off their foundations leaving holes in the ground where the bacement used to be. No one knew what the tornado was or even that it was on the ground because we dont have chasers or even radars to see the storms. No one died but a lot of poeple were hurt. Our school was only a high school at the time but in that same year some kid called in a bomb threat (our town is only about 500 people and thats including the farms) which made the school go into lockdown. I dont think he was caught. And the bank in our town was robbed twice the same year as well. Guess 1983 was just a bad year.

The high school I went to also caught fire! Someone left a plastic cutting board in an oven in the Home Ec room, someone else turned it on.
All of us stood in the parking lot for 3 hours and missed our first class period. My class wasn't at that school, it was at another building the next town over, and I missed the first part because the bus to take us couldn't get to the pickup point due to all the people and firetrucks.
Eventually the FD cleared the building and classes resumed. That hallway by the Home Ec room smelled like burnt plastic for a week afterwards.
My favorite part, all the students (and maybe some teachers) were hoping that school would get consumed by the flames.
Another incident: I had a class where the teacher literally taught once. Once. In the whole semester. That one time, another student had a full on meltdown because "were never gonna use this crap, it's pointless" The class: government/economics. The lesson: voting. We were both seniors, and graduated 7 years ago. That dude, last I saw, was working as a grocery store bagger, the same exact job I had during that semester.
    Tldr: school caught fire

    Fires at school:
My school was pretty new (I was the first of the classes to go all 3 years [school district had schools setup as follows: Elementary was K-6, Middle was 7-9, and High was 10-12]).
In those three years I believe there was a fire that affected the school each year. The first was a wildfire caused by the nearby military training facility doing exercises. That made this brand spanking new school an emergency shelter for a school day. Things went back to normal the next day since the fire was contained quite quickly once it threatened the city.
The second one was that someone set fire to one of the gym mats before school started. They had all the students sit in the GYM NEXT TO WHERE THE FIRE WAS.
And the third was someone who didn't know instant noodles needed water added before microwaving them.
Mind you, there are also about 3,000 students attending school at a time. What I wouldn't have done to have a smaller class size ...

I once threatened a class mate with a scissors when I was 10. In my defense, I told him multiple times to stop whatever he was doing but that didn't work.
Eventually my pacience reached a point to try to hit (or scare)him with the forst thing I saw, (round tip) scissors.
The teacher saw it and stopped the fight, and after a short explaining, she grounded both of us without recess until we apologised. Nothing happened for like 10 minutes until I started talking and apologising, but also making him somewhat responsible for what happened and his attitude.
He agreeded, apologised too and after recess told the treacher about it.
    Kinda agressive, wasn't I?

I have to disagree with the idea that fighting back won't make it better. Most of the time it will show your bully that you will not tolerate being treated like that. A good number of my bullies pushed me around until I pushed back.
The only one that didn't was a genuine psychopath and was just waiting for me to fight back so that he could try to kill me. (I'm not kidding. The one time I finally fought back against him, he grabbed me by the throat and attempted to strangle me.)
But I digress. My point is, sometimes bullies need to be put in their place.

My incident was involving an english teacher. This teacher, who we'll call Mrs . J, was a teacher nobody liked except for a few jocks and popular kids. Everyone suspected that she was sleeping around a bit already, but what really set it in stone, was when she was caught sending nudes to a student. At the end of the yearshe was forced to quit and we successfully got rid of another bad teacher.

When I was at secondary school, back in the 70s, UK, We had a maths teacher who used to throw the blackboard duster at pupils, one boy said, "I bet you can't hit me, sir, " and ducked down behind the raised lid of his desk. Mr Lee waited blackboard duster in hand, when the boy put his head above the raised lid, Mr Lee threw the duster at him, hitting him between the eyes. The boy was knocked backwards out of his chair and lay on the floor, bleeding from his mouth and ears. An ambulance and the police were called, the boy spent about a month in hospital with a fractured skull and severe bruising to his brain. Mr Lee was led out in handcuffs, he was charged with GBH and was sentenced to nine months in jail. He never worked with kids again.

    Oh I have one!
Not as severe as others I’ve seen, but, for context: English all-girls private Catholic secondary school (11-18).
TL;DR: tech thief lead to a drug bust-up.
So this was one day when I was in Year 11 (10th grade I think the equivalent). Obviously not all students there were super well off, but a large amount of students who obviously had money made it obvious (im talking the spray tans, specific coats, AirPods etc, at the time it seemed tacky to me). Anyways for about a month people had been reporting in my year that they had cash taken from their bags etc, and eventually this escalated to several AirPods being stolen from various students. Obviously they gave the typical “we’re very disappointed” speech that makes your blood boil, but the thefts didn’t stop, to the point one Friday morning they called an entire assembly to give the same speech (basically half an hour of “sadly one of us has decided they don’t want to be a part of our loving community and go against our values” the usual rubbish).
Anyways, in my yeargroup, there was one girl, we’ll call her E who had quite a difficult home situation, had been involved in an arrest involving her outside friend group. She was a really great person to us, but when it came to staff and authorities she had no respect for them, we all liked her though. Unfortunately she’d been feuding in a way with another girl, we’ll call her C, not sure why but we suspect jealously was involved.
So C decided to “snitch” on E that she was the apparent thief, and while the assembly was taking place, the staff seized her bag to search. She wasn’t stealing, so nothing found there. Instead, they found a significant amount of white powder (you can guess). She was called in and screamed at for about half an hour by the deputy head, and promptly expelled that same afternoon, two months before GCSEs (except it was 2020 - they didn’t happen), and called our year back.
They never even told us who was gone and why, “sadly one of your classmates in no longer with us, it’s very sad, etc” - I seriously thought someone had died, had to get the story from a friend as, naturally, anyone who was close to E knew it.

    Story 21:
It didn't happen to me, but to one of my coworkers (in France, coincidently) , she was still in high school, and the school didn't have the funding for the school trip. The teacher in charge of organizing thee tip asked the students to bake pies with their own money, sell them, and give the money to pay for the trip. If each of the student sold between 1 to3 pies, the trip would have been paid off; Every students sold at least one pie. My coworker sold a dozen.
They did give the money, the trip never happened....
A few weeks ago, my boss has his son in the local private school.
The school has been the victim of misappropriation recently, so no more money for the school trip. they asked the parents to pay for everything (journey and hosting), usually, during a school trip, the trip is done either by bus or train (and rarely, by plane), and the hosting in an hotel or an inn.
This time... it was done by hosting families, abroad.
They asked parents to pay money to send their children to complete strangers abroad...
And those hosting families then asked the kids to pay for their food...
    _______________________________________________________________
I don't know if it was THE incident, but it's still a story worth telling I think.
Back in my second year of college, there was a full-scale fire drill. In the middle of winter... it was snowing.
The alarm began to ring, and we left everything behind us, including our coats. It was freezing outside, the exercise lasted for more than one hour, and nobody came to distribute blankets or even check on us. The teachers simply counted heads and that was it, we were left in the snow without anything to cover ourselves.
The worst drill I was part of ever.
And I just remembered, in my second middle school, our class was ravaged by NZ. The door got kicked in, they made a pile in the middle of the room with all the tables and chairs, and tagged every wall with German words and friendship crosses.
Weird thing to do in a catholic school, but well...

The "incident" in my school was one of those cholo gangbanger kids posting he had ties to the cartel. He was a total wannabe and was all talk, very annoying and extremely loud. One such post said he got a "package" from his cartel contact. Police paid him a visit and he had to publicly recant the story and remive the post. By that time it jad already made rounds to central Mexico and the cartel he namedropped didn't appreciate it. Two men were sent up to the states to clean silence him. One day we saw the cholo wasnt at school, and given how loud he always was. A few more days had passed and we had assumed he was arrested.
Thursday came and there was a sinking feeling running through the school. It was confirmed that the cholo was not arrested, his body was found in the orchards just outside of town, his head in the river nearby. Cartel had sent two hitmen to silence him. A few others were also caught in the "cleaning" before they were caught by local police. After that year kids were more hesitant to affiliate themselves with gang culture.

The incident at my school, my friend threatened the school with a school shooting. The guy was taller than me and had orange hair, we would play rough during recess (like boys do all the time) with other friends and stuff, it was fun trying to escape from his little "police force" of his 2 other friends who were also taller than me. So basically, fast forward like a few months or so, the kid gets into a fight with another kid, I don't remember if he wins or not, but I'm pretty sure he lost. There was a huge crowd, like literally 70% of the kids at recess were there watching the fight break out. My friends told me a day or something later that he got spanked at home, no confirmation, and then like a week or so later, I'm staying home on a Friday. I ask my mom why, and she said there was a school shooting threat. I ended up staying at my grandma's. My friend told me on Monday that there were police officers everywhere, and that aftercare was cancelled. Basically aftercare is self explanatory, it's a program where kids can stay after school and do fun things until their parents pick them up. The principal was mad at the after care supervisor that she cancelled the program on Friday, so she also told them to cancel it on Monday as well. Thankfully the school shooting never happened, TLDR: My friend threatened a school shooting (after), my friends and his friends would play games as well, and he got into a fight, probably loses, and then threatens a school shooting on Friday. Apparently, the after care director, which we'll call "Ms. Mary" (not real name) Told my mom that the kid posted a picture of a real pistol and threatened to shoot the school.

Kid got dropped basically on his head with force after being a full on "muh lady" type towards my two year long term religious girlfriend.
He insisted she was single and just lying because we never displayed any PDA just always were together.
Long story short he cornered her twice in the same day idk what got into him. He was a very tall VERY skinny dude.
She was intimidated clearly because she came to me after the second time.
I confronted him, he told me she deserves a "real man" I laughed, he shoved me I picked him up basically put his crotch in my face WWE style and slammed him back flat on the ground.
He was out, I got charged.
His X-ray was scary, I could have killed him. Split his skull and somehow his jaw in the middle? That one confused me.
He never approached my friend group again, and my girlfriend actually broke up with me over that, wasn't a real relationship the dude was kinda right. She was to religious to actually date someone I was just a stupid kid. 😂
    Not worth it.

I broke a bathroom wall in school, by accident 😅
I wanted a pretty tile, and when i ripped it off the wall, the WHOLE wall collapsed
The teacher by the bathroom ran out to see what happened and just saw me in a pile of rubble
    And I just went "🧍 it ...uh..fell"
    Never got caught
It was a whole fiasco bc it was the ONLY bathroom on that side of the school and was now shut down
And everyone was gossiping about how it happened making all these crazy speculations
A year later we did an "About Me" presentation in a class
I added a photo of the wall I broke and told the story
The teacher walks up to me after the presentation
I think oh damn that was too bold, I shouldn't have confessed
He goes "Jenna.... *Points at photo of a book on the poster* I love that book!"
I admitted to being the one that destroyed the bathroom
    And I STILL didn't get caught 😅
